Delta, who needs em?

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Remove Delta from the squad list, leaving only 3 squads to manage and fill.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): For one, this will ensure that the other squads are well filled and balanced. I had quite a few experiences where, even in high-pop, squads at time will lack important assets like squad leaders, which hinder the marines pretty badly when they aren't available round start. With this, you'd have a higher chance of all squads being well rounded with grunts and other important jobs.

Another benefit is that it would make it easier for command to manage. You wouldn't have to worry about not having enough BOs to watch all the computers, and with the current limit on BOs, it would mean that a full set of BOs would allow the XO to focus on other business, such as keeping the ship staff in check while the commander works on his battleplans.

And speaking of commanders, it'll make it easier to manage all your squads when you don't have a 4th one to worry about. I always found giving objectives to keep all the squads busy to be difficult at times, let alone keeping all 4 in check. But knocking it down to 3 could help keep things more focused, and hopefully reduce metarushes done by bored squads since you could give a squad more to do, instead of struggling to split objectives up 4 ways and hope they last.

There are a number of ways this could improve things, at least to me.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Really, there isn't a whole lot to it other than there being a squad less than the current setup. Games would go as they normally had, but they would be a tad easier for the marines now that squads are more condensed.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): No doubt there would be some map reworkings to adjust to the lost squad, but it couldn't be too hard.. Would it?

Delta is the best squad because they have the nicest colours!
If you're gonna remove someone remove charlie, their colours are just so dull compared to the others

+1 But keep the blue and swap out Charlie squads purple for it.

Take the specialist away, add PFC Automatic Riflemen and Designated Marksmen to every squad, bumping up their base firepower to compensate.
