Rule addition: Killing survivors.

Post by RadiantFlash » 20 Sep 2016, 22:28

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):Add a rule which prevents aliens from killing survivors unless they have no other choice.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Less xenos rushing survivors and slashing them to death, instead of going for the easy infect.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):maybe, Don't kill the survivors, unless you have to.
I mean, it's sort of sad, when the aliens kill the poorly equiped and not very well armed survivors, when they easily infect better armed marines.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):Adding to the rules.

Neutral/-1

The aliens already have knowledge of survivors, after all, they were the ones who destroyed the colony.

I think there are less unbalance-one-team way, and definitely a way to do it without enforcing (A hard to enforce one, mind you) a rule.
Perhaps one could suggest more spawn locations for survivors? There is already a suggestion for this, actually.

Against another arbitrary rule addition. If the queen tells them not to kill the survivors, then they're breaking a rule by disobeying. If the queen wants them dead, we always allow the queen to reserve the right to determine how her hive expands.
I'm stressing way too hard about what to put here, so I'm just gonna leave it blank.... or....

Discuss this in staff chat, since you have that option.
