Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
Allow less MP's
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
As of right now there are way too many people that can be MP, at one point there was a good 14 or 15 of us, we don't even have enough HUD glasses for that, it's unnecessary, you don't need that many MP's, i'd say 5 at most and the Sulaco is perfectly safe. when you get past that then what's the point? Most of them will essentially be out of a job because the work is often spread so thin. Even when it's not spread thin it's not spread 5+ thick.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
You'd have less MP's, more work spread between them (like before) and not have a bunch of people doing nothing, even when duty calls. for every MP that's working you have 5 standing around, not because they're lazy, but because they're not needed.

I understand why they increased it, but I feel like there are too many MP's currently.

+1, IMO the MP buff is the knee jerk reaction of the Devs due to the person playing as RO Tom "Houston" Sagaz's paperwork RO bullshit.

But I think the current ratio is fine. Maybe increase the amount of equipment spawned?

No, more equipment, but 15 MP's for 100 total players is not at all necessary, I'd cap it at like... 5 or 6.

I think more MPs is a good thing. Maybe a new rule that allows Commanders to mobilize all MPs also good and leave 1 or 2 on the Sulaco for good measure. Would make the role more fun.

More MP's IS good, and having more than 3 makes the roundstart safer. But 15-20? That's too many.
How about capping it at 7-8? That should be more than enough to handle any disturbance besides greytide, which is more of an admin matter.

The less MPs you have the less chance you get a shitler, I would prefer around 6 MPs

Maybe this is the time to add a Head of Security sort of role, I've seen MPs fight for sentences because everyone had a different opinion on how to apply them.

I believe the highest ranked officer has that role, from CO to XO to BO to, maybe PO, then MP.
