Fire revamp

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
Make flammables ignite easely, allow for more propagation and make explosions have an high chance to trigger flammables.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
Joyful warmth for all.
Scenarios involving onboard / offboard fires where extinguishers are needed.
May actually improve flamethrower gameplay and/or limit its use in certain areas.
Would be interesting to implement.
Simulation game grows more simulatey.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
Any flammables such as tank fuel last for a longuer period of time or untill extinguished, allowing for longuer threats regarding the matter.
(Flamethrowers are not included since their burning time is good)

Burning matter can cause adjacent tiles to catch fire. Tiles that can catch fire are those such as grass, wood and flammables.
(Grass may be annoying to add)

Adding wood to a fire will put the wood on fire, like you'd expect. Any wooden items will catch fire.
Wooden planks and other pickable items on fire can be picked and cause burn damage to wielder.

Flammables easely spread and catch fire, allowing for fuel tanks to cause large ponds of fuel to ignite a whole area and burn living, non-living and object with it (Scary!).

In short: Make fire great again!
CM was obviously inspired by Starcraft: Ghost opening. At least when marines takes too long to deploy.

Can we also make fire heat up metal items in its radius, and thus cause burns to people who pick up those metal items?

I'd be in for it. Wear the safety gloves :)

UPD: Add the liquid fuel, make a circle of fire possible

+1, allow me to use fire against xenos as MT, WITHOUT phoron flooding the lower deck...

+1 +1 +1!!! Couple of rounds ago, I found liquid fuel and wasn't happy when I couldn't ignite it. This would be a great addition!

Excelent idea, it would create some cool situations as a survivor, it'll be good when xenos are raiding the FOB and such, making the fuel tanks very valuable +1
