Improved point-blank

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Point-blank causes serious bleeding, does burn damage and is generally more punishing.
Using it on a xeno is a guarantee of a face full of acid, though.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): It will make point-blank shooting a high risk - high reward option instead of pure flavour. The shot will cripple your enemy, but you're almost certainly getting splashed with acid, getting an equal drawback. Essentially a panic "OH SHIT" option making one-on-one more interesting.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): When you're shooting someone point-blank, it's not just "you're close, less energy lost." If your weapon is almost pressed into them, the expanding gasses can reach them - forcing their way into the wound right after the bullet, searing hot and with extreme force.
The result is a wound that's burnt on the exterior and "blown up" in the first few centimeters. The hot gas forces the cavity to expand, ripping flesh and bursting vessels in addition to the shock from the bullet.
But the wound can only expand so much, and all that blood has to go somewhere. And the easiest way out is usually directed at your face.

I imagine this as a slight DoT for xenos (perhaps incendiary code, but without the overlay, and very low-damage?), with a chance for a slowdown, in addition to the damage buff that's already implemented. The point of the DoT is to represent a very nasty wound requiring all the healing potential of the xeno to close.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Damage over time + chance to slowdown.

Ehhh.... I'm fine with point blank as is and I'm positive this will result more marine shittery than machetes when half the force dies from trying to be ultimate badasses. Burn damage is a weak deterrant being the easiest damage to heal, no broken bones just kelo and ointment and since burning acid spit became a thing medics are on thier game with handling that. Secondly aliens already have the best anti point black/melee defence though few marines think about it and that's dropping huggers. Nothing like seeing a rambo knock down a xeno in close range causing it to drops the huggers it's holding only to heal and drag the marine home.
