Add exhaustion.
Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
Isn't a bit weird how EVERYONE runs but never gets tired? Have an exhaustion bar or meter on the side of the UI, displaying how much run you have left. How this would work is in the details.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
More realistic, maybe a bit more spookier and intense.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
Have a meter or bar at the side of the UI, and at its full height you can run for 60 seconds, and that's the full point. Every time you stop for a second, you regain a second. Running drains by a second. Walking does not do anything to the run bar. You can Sprite it to show when it's a quarter full, half full, a quarter empty, and empty.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):
Coding and sprinting work. Also, this is BYOND seconds. They tend to fluctuate, to the point that if you enter 60 seconds, in game it could be 120.

Re: Add exhaustion.
Would be a pretty huge nerf to marines seeing as it looks like you're suggesting xenos are not affected. Most xenos are already faster than a running human.

Re: Add exhaustion.
I wouldn't mind this but it would lead to alot more turtling as marines would find it extremely difficult to push. Neutral for now.

Re: Add exhaustion.
-1 while an interesting and realistic mechanic, the marines don't need any more excuses to stay in an FOB and let the xenos come to them. Perhaps this could be a potential implementation in the future, but as of now it'd be counter productive to our goals.
I'm stressing way too hard about what to put here, so I'm just gonna leave it blank.... or....

-1 It seems like a major nerf to marines, while I agree it's realistic and people would be terrified of it. It works better on a survivor standpoint but not for marines who's main goal is to only murder xenosh and cross the river early every single round.

Re: Add exhaustion.
I would +1 this as it is realistic, BUT jogging would be the current speed, and marines can 'panic' and run faster for a certain amount of time. Like in Zombie panic source, they would loose random gear and drop what they have in their hand, so not really a good idea for a spec or someone attacking for a speed boost, only in emergency's.

-1. It may be realistic, but the Marines don't need another nerf, at all.

Re: Add exhaustion.
-1, I've already stated before that on my end anything that causes a slowdown is generally something I frown upon.
Rounds shouldn't be slowed, survivors should still be able to run across the map (Please anyone, don't nerf them again) and people shouldn't get hugger-stunned.
Seriously, don't you ALL agree the worse part of your game experience is getting hit by a grenade, hugger or generally being stunned and unable to play? What'd be better in giving someone a slow that you can't even fight against (Don't start with adrenaline, please).
Overall, exhaustion would only slow the pace and experience of the players, leading to slower rounds and less enjoyment. I've personally avoided playing marine, because I've felt extremely limited and adding a new limit will not bring me back to it, nor certain other players who transfered to xeno.
PS: I wish you a nice day, I still admire the suggestion, but in any games where roleplay and combat is involved, stamina has only shown to deter my experience and so as some other gameplay mechanics. Realism is neat, but not always warrented.

CM was obviously inspired by Starcraft: Ghost opening. At least when marines takes too long to deploy.

Re: Add exhaustion.
There are mechanics to give marines slowdowns when it's necessary already, mainly due to injury. They don't need to be nerfed - it's not like their jogging speed makes anything unfair for the xenos.
Only positive I could see to this is that it could be more realistic, though aiming for realism all the time isn't exactly the best choice for a game.
