Your appeal, including evidence (screenshots, etc): I was messing about (OOC) and ended up getting this (https://gyazo.com/3e955dd49a38ab3ed6d36ec9585f509d), I thought it would be funny to, after hearing such an odd thing, put my gun in my mouth. I didn't, however, remove it fast enough (input lag or something) to stop the gun from going off and I shot myself. I understand the reason for the ban, I broke the rules, but shooting myself was not intentional at all. Furthermore, I tend to take command rules rather seriously and it'd be a shame to not be able to play for a mistake. I understand if it gets denied though because I did break the rules by committing suicide despite it being unintentional.

I always figured that the "You hear a voice in your head" is IC, and I tend to treat it as such. That being said, it was very shaky RP at best and I agree that killing myself was not a proper IC response no matter what, and that even pretending to do so had little justification. It was, however, meant to be more of a joke (OOC) to the person who put that in my head which backfired.

Edit: It also wasn't directly at roundstart, I had already given orders about briefing et cetera and was waiting by to launch the pods (So few marines that I was gonna give briefing in the hangar)
