Perma Ban - Ivan poloski

Post by louisloftcraft » 26 Dec 2016, 05:30

Your Byond ID: Gradedgrey

Character Name:Ivan poloski

Type Of Ban (Job-ban, Timed Ban, Permaban): permanent

Admin who banned you (if known): G26DEC16 or Apop

Total Ban Duration:- forever ( That's a long time)

Remaining Duration:- forever

What other servers do you play on? Inbound travels and Polaris

Are you now or have you been banned on any of them? yes

Reason for ban (If you have a Permaban, it should be the EXACT MESSAGE YOU GET WHEN YOU LOGIN with the Error code that looks like this: X##XXX##. If you do not provide this EXACTLY you can't be unbanned): Multic c-key switching

Link to previous appeals for the same ban (if applicable):

Your appeal, including evidence (screenshots, etc):

Hey so I was talking to admin Apop and I let slip that I USED to c-key switching in's. He was very calm and explained that it was big offence and said to repeal the ban. In my defence I used multi ckey logg in's as Bruce_stern and Louis Loftcraft to take over a new character and become a Doc and help out with the giant mess in medical and or essentially 1 Extra life. I have been playing for a long time and I have come to the realisation that my online actions have been; lets just say not the best.

So that's when I started to play as Ivan poloski. Since the creation of Ivan, I have managed to keep long periods of professionalism without getting in to serious trouble. I have been playing roles like Co and Ro as Ivan with little to no issue,I take pride in Being a really good Doctor that can have you in and out of OR before you know it. I love this server and hope to keep on playing, I hope that my honest and friendly Interactions with admins and people shine through and will get me back in the game.

As the one who had to look in to your multi-keying, it's not like you've cleaned up your act for a long while. The log-ins of both of your c-keys are as recent as this month and then some. While I'm sure you're not the worst player in the world, the shit you pulled should not be allowed to fly and its not something to take lightly. Multikeying is a shady maneuver as both a method of dodging proper record of notes as well as what you've already admitted to in regards to joining the server again with two ckeys in the same round.

While it's not up to me, I'd recommend that the ban stay in place much much longer than the single day it's been in effect.
Goes better with soup.

I've seen your characters pop up in player reports and ban appeals before, so I know that all of your characters have broken rules and whatnot in the past. This coupled with your multikeying and joining twice in the same rounds, makes me believe this ban needs to stick for some time.

I've been staying away from multi-key log in's and now generally look down at it with bitter taste in my mouth. I always am playing colonial marines and I try to make it a fun experience for all and when I do get out of line I gladly take any in character punishment and try to talk it out with and admin in need be.

I not the worst player in the world, but the shit I pulled should not be allowed to fly and it is something to take seriously. I have really been trying to change over a new leaf these last two months and hope my recent activity shows some indication that I can act responsible and NOT be a constant thorn in admin sides. So from a little help and understanding I hope to become a better player. :)

I don't believe a single day should be considered staying away from multikeying.
