Are you now or have you been banned on any of them: I've played on Hippie for like, ever. So yeah I've copped a few bans in my time on there.

Reason for ban : Reason: ERP - PFC Jeremy (?) Generically asks, "Anybody wanna touch tips in the shower?" and more. You may appeal this on the forums here viewforum.php?f=76 .

Your appeal, including evidence (screenshots, etc): Nothing, the previous round I got bored and made a joke about ERPing in the BYOND pager, the next round at the start I dropped another joke while everybody was having their chow time about touching tips in the showers. Snypehunter007 immediately pounced on me for the comments, and told him that I was joking and wasn't about to do anything lewd in the showers. They proceeded to ban me for an entire week.

I'd like my ban to lifted post-haste and in return I will not make jokes about sexual acts, god forbid I traumatize anybody with some dirty humor.

It may involve two or more people or be done in front of spectators. This includes reading stories about ERP but not participating directly (WGW). Both consensual and nonconsensual ERP will be met with a PERMABAN. This is not to be confused with distasteful but acceptable marine bravado such as "/me scratches his crotch" or "/me pinches [player]'s nipple." However, these actions can be handled IC as Neglect of Duty or Sexual Assault per Marine Law. Bottom line: If you're not sure if it's ERP or not, or you don't want to be permabanned, just don't do it.

A joke about touching tips in the shower or ERPing over the byond pager in deadchat hardly qualifies as ERP under this policy. There was no participants, willing or unwilling. I was not reading out ERP stories, and I was not engaging in an act of it with another person. In fact the shower joke falls under marine banter more than anything else.

Sure seems like the ban is invalid to me.

Theres major legal issues if we dont enforce no ERP, all our head staff is over the age of at least 22+.

I'm in favor of removing this ban completely. "Anybody wanna touch tips in the shower?" is something that I would've heard a dozen times while I was in the military. It's idle joking and not meant to be explicit.
