Haven't played much SS13 at all for the past few months. Used to play on: BestRP>Unbound Travels>Aphelion, and I believe I played on CM waaay back during TG code days a fair bit.

I guess this happened way back in october, I remember being very bored and fed up with some stuff. As in, pissed off and under the impression that I never really was going to play here again. So I made a pacid grenade and set it off on the shuttle. Hilariously enough I was the only one to die since the smoke got confined to the tile I was standing on, heh. But yeah this was about six months ago now and I regret doing this, was pretty stupid of me even though nobody got hurt but me. Shouldn't have been so salty.

It may also appear that I 'tried' to ban evade, but I just use different ckeys for a server a few of my friends play on because I didn't want them to recognize me. I'm clever enough to know that just making a new byond key won't do shit against any ban. I never really bothered to log back into Ranged66 yet but I did occasionally (once a month? dunno) check if I was still banned from here, when I was really bored at the time I guess. Anyway I would enjoy playing on here again and you have my word I won't do stupid shit like this anymore, else you may ban me with 0 chance at appeal.

Here's the thing with ban evading, or using multiple keys so you don't get recognized: that is a huge and absolute no. Pull that shit here and you'll get permabanned again if your appeal is accepted. As for the polyacid smoke grenade, that was just dumb, glad you admit it. However you pretty much admit that you'd do something stupid like that when you're tired of the server because you don't care about being banned. So why would holding a ban over your head mean anything now?

I know it is a huge no. It doesn't even work, all I did was use a different ckey on another server so my friends wouldn't recognize me. Just couldn't be bothered to log out again after that, and at some point I just tried joining again and found myself still banned.

And to your second point, well, I regret it now, don't I?
It was a stupid thing to do and got me permabanned, but it has been six months already. People change, and I'm sorry about the things I've done. A second chance to play here again would be nice, since it is a pretty fun server after all.

It's understandable if this appeal gets denied. Will there be any chance for a second one in the future though? I really regret what I've done and would like to play on this server again.

For the record, this was the only time I seriously broke the rules on here. I was annoyed because of a few bad rounds as an aliens so I was just done playing and wanted to vent frustration on the marines (ironically only killing myself off, but netting me a permaban anyway). Only time I ever multi keyed was this time six months ago to do this, and as this forum says "You probably deserved it.", yes I did. But I'd love to play on here again sometime under the promise never to break a rule again.

Not lying, it looked to me like that happened. It didn't look as if the smoke spread out all, just stayed centered on my tile.

Now that I think about it though, doesn't smoke affect a 3x3 tile radius minimum? That might be the cause of it. I sure don't remember any of it spreading out though. But then again that was 6 months ago, so I'm not too sure.

Perma-bans aren't on the priority list and they take time, a lot of time. Those things considered it may be awhile before you get an answer. Just sit tight.

The thing is, we take multikeying VERY serious, and I see 3 accounts, tied to one IP and CID.

Stupid shit like that, greatly extends the time for this because it goes from a simple "yeah we can unban them" to "are they going to use multiple keys to try and evade notes?"

I only ever really played on CM with Ranged, which is my main account (hence the forum name).

GCata was just used to observe my friends on another server once so I could mess with them a little, nothing to do with CM, and I'm pretty sure I don't even remember the password to it. I guess I just forgot I was logged into it and clicked join on your server once to check if I was still banned.

Urads is the account I made out of frustration and the one that got me banned, which is what this is all about. Pretty sure I don't remember the password to that one either.

We are always very hard on multikeyers, because they basically undermine how the game works.

You have my word, which probably won't mean much coming from a banned player. What proof could I provide? I always use Ranged/Ranged66 for everything, from discord to titanfall. It's been my go to username for years now.

I don't really see the point in multikeying to avoid notes either, you already found the ckey I did nothing but press 'join' once with so it appears to be easy to track back to the player? Besides, I'm not planning to gather anymore notes in the first place if I get unbanned.
