Your appeal, including evidence (screenshots, etc): The PMs I sent the mod who banned me were too far back. I'm not really interested in getting my ban lifted or reduced, I'm just trying to understand the bad behavior in question. I didn't know what I was doing was powergaming and the claim I made was IIRC "you said it was fine to do a couple of days ago, but okay." That's essentially what I said, just that they said I was able to, as a Standard, build a decoy grenade— and left it at that (that's why I said "okay"), it wasn't a continued argument either, I clarified (my response to the admin PM sent to me) that in the Discord chat in #bootcamp , I asked if Standards can build a decoy grenade (although, I possibly didn't), and when they stated that I never mentioned standards, I replied with "I did mention standard though," to clear their confusion. I did ahelp elDefaultio "griefing", though to be fair, that was me thinking mods were above that behavior and we were building in Nexus at that moment.

If you ask me it should be completely common sense that a standard wouldn't know how to make a grenade, in the future you should be more specific when asking rule related questions, as ignorance is not an excuse. Furthermore, you did not mention "Standard" at all in the question as far as I can see.

With the ignorance thing, I wasn't really making an excuse since there was no point in denying what was clarified, and that was clear with the ban itself.

I see it now, but I didn't interpret standard in that manner. "Is doing X as a standard powergaming?" I read that as "Doing X as a standard thing" aka a normal thing. Since I figured that was a given. (Especially since I tend to say PFC so force of habit)

Anyways I will admit misreading that is on me and I could see how perhaps on both sides it may have been misinterpreted, yet the point still stands that the answer given did not give you permission to build grenades as a standard. I would really recommend being more specific in your questions in the future so things like this don't happen. When in doubt, ahelp in game.
