Your appeal, including evidence (screenshots, etc): I was the ro, and the round was enjoyably hectic. All major squads had big complicates orders, which is always an interesting challenge, both time and point wise, to fulfill. To keep the cargo team motivated, we built a 'tiki lodge' to relax in between orders. An mp came in and saw this but decided to let it slide when we explained the purpose. A little while later, the WO, and several other mps arrived, saw the lodge, and told us to tear it down or they would brig the entire team. After a bit of back and forth, I told them we would deconstruct it after we had finished with our order (for charlie squad) which was time critical. This wasn't good enough apprently, so the entire cargo team was arrested. I got 60 mins in the brig, narrowly escaping perma. The one ct's got 40? 50? mins, and one got perma brigged, becuase he had a boot knife on him.

After waiting up my time, I shot and killed myself in the brig when i was released, however this was obviously against the rules, and i should have known better. All i can say was, at the time, i was tired, and had had my round (and the other ct's) rounds, and the good morale and supply chain and rp we had ruined over what is a relatively minor issue.

If i can get on my soapbox here, i believe the mps have gone from having too little power, to too much. the brig was full almost the entire round, and some mps seem to take an almost perverse pleasure in brigging for extra time, or finding the most minor infractions to punish for. It's good that marines can no longer get away with some of their more puerile behaviors, but when the entire cargo staff is jailed for building something harmless longer than a marine who beat 2 people bloody with a crowbar, there is a problem with the system. If most civilian jobs are reduced to literally being slaves cowering under a mps boot, disallowed any chance or rp or downtime, where is the enjoyment in playing the role anymore?
