The most glaring issue with this ban is that fact that I did not, even after combing through the rules just a few moments ago to make sure, break any written rules. The narrative is also incorrect, I had died previously and a doctor was holding my ID during the mutiny for my safety. I left medbay in an attempt to find the doctor and noticied a group of Marines moving towards the briefing ladder to go up it. I asked them specifically if they are mutineers to prevent getting another warning (got a warning from TexasTwoStep because I received orders from the CMP to shoot to kill any Marines on the top deck, which at the time I saw no reason for that to be unlawful due to the extremely violent mutiny) and they said "yeah". At that same moment an SO and MP went down the ladder from the topdeck and were shot dead by the Marines almost instantaneously, even though TexasTwoStep claims that I killed them, after them being shot by 4 or more Marines with rifles in the head even if they weren't technically dead they were about to be very shortly. I promptly lit all of the Marines on fire using a flamethrower that happened to be on the ground in the area. After getting lit on fire one of them managed to live long enough to shoot me dead and then the conversation with TexasTwoStep began. I feel that a round ban as well as a job ban is way overboard for me dealing with an extremely violent mutiny. Even the Marine Law states that "Mutinies are unlawful, however, and MPs must do everything in their power to prevent and suppress a Mutiny." I was only doing everything in my power to end the mutiny and even died twice in the process, and for that I got job banned.
To address possible counter arguments I must reiterate that this was a violent mutiny therefore me killing those Marines would not be considered grief as they themselves stated they were mutineers and then did actions to cement that fact.

Re: Military Police Job Ban Appeal
Right,
The CIC wouldn't stand-down, in which there was a stalemate and one of the Staff-Officers was negotiating with the Mutineers, you had a previously bwoink about shooting marines on the top-deck because you were ordered to by the CMP whom at the time had cryoed. After that, you were then ahelped about in which involving part of the mutiny you carelessly used a flame-thrower burning primarily MP's and Command Member's trying to ESCAPE the mutiny. I just pulled the logs and before the incident you just went around asking "Mutiney?" "You Mutiney?" then you started flame-throwering everyone in the CIC Ladder-room.
I was being nice and warned you about using common sense the first time instead of job-banning you Like I should've considering you shot and tried to kill two Marines who weren't brandishing any weapons, and instigated Alpha Squad to spice up the violent mutiny after shooting one of their Marines infront of the Squad-Leader.

Re: Military Police Job Ban Appeal
There was only one MP and one SO, the rest were mutinying Marines that shot them. Of course hindsight is 20/20 at the time the common sense thing to do would be "oh I have a flamethrower, let me kill the people that just shot those who I needed to protect dead."

Re: Military Police Job Ban Appeal
I still don't understand what exact rule I broke either. If I did happen to kill the SO and MP unintentionally, then I apologize, but there was shooting and I had seconds to do anything. Even still FF happens all the time and no punishments are handed out.

Re: Military Police Job Ban Appeal
If you were an MP, Marine law is a RULE for you.
If you broke any of the laws, that's what resulted in the job-ban. I'm not 100% sure the situation, but if you want I can log dive. However, if you are lying and DID kill the SO and other one and I find that in the logs, you will be permabanned.

Re: Military Police Job Ban Appeal
Thank for doing that. I do not believe I dealt the killing blow to him, however I may be wrong because of how quickly everything happened and the combat logs being buried by deadchat. Also during the time as found under Marine Law,
Dangerous Suspect (has used a lethal weapon against law enforcement): rule 2 sub 1 states "If the suspect cannot be subdued with non-lethal force, the Chief MP or acting commander (may authorize a lethal force response in extreme situations, primarily when Marine lives and/or the safety of the ship are at risk.", at the time was authorized and implemented by either the CMP, the CO, or both. I'll also think of ways to prevent this happening in the future as well; I may also write a suggestion to make dealing with large and violent mutinies more clear to prevent others from repeating my mistake.

Re: Military Police Job Ban Appeal
One more thing I recommend is making mass-kill orders explicitly illegal for the CMP to give to prevent the reason I got a warning in the first place.
