Your appeal, including evidence (screenshots, etc): I remember it was mostly a joke that went horribly wrong. I roleplayed an MP who was in a deep depression over missing his wife. I remember taking a shotgun and going to Medbay to see the nurse, was being played by a friend and wanted a cheap scare. I then proceeded to put the barrel in my mouth and pulled the trigger, but I didn't know that it was loaded at the time. Hence I shot myself in the head and was promptly banned afterward. I'm only now appealing it because I know what I did was stupid, but didn't wanna give in my pride to apologizing. Again I know that was dumb as well. I understand if you don't consider unjob-banning me.

Who exactly is this "admin friend" who would ban someone for you if you gave a recording? Because we don't operate that way.

Was still relatively new and never dealt with PMs before, so I didn't know how to reply back at the time. Also as I stated, I did not know the shotgun was loaded when I found it on the table. I did not mean to commit suicide as much as it was RPing an MP who was mental breaking down and wanted to get some communications with the Corp about going home. Granted should have examined shotgun before taking it, but again was relatively new.

First time playing Xeno and I was trying to figure how to evolve, I thought I had to gather food or such in order to evolve. Didn't know the person was already infected.

Wasn't recording as much as it was trying to get a meta-gaming twit to back off. The one is question was more or less spinning in a circle around the few of us strung together. Someone brought it up what he was doing was metagaming, and so that's when I made the threat to get him to more or less shove off. Though I was told by a mod and some of the other xenos in LOOC that that wasn't the case, that they apparently had enough 'reasoning' to do as such. No I will not be giving the name of my friend, they have done some good work to the server and I will not jeopardize what progress they were able to do over me shooting off my mouth (keyboard).

Not the spinning itself as metagaming as much as it was the babysitting us part. I'd understand if it heard us struggling or such, but as soon as we were strapped down, he just hung out and took swipes at us.

I'm not really a fan of letting someone wander the server if they are going to threaten players.

They are not someone who would simply ban unnecessarily. They have been strict on us when the time asked for it. Again its not a situation like I know a cop that can get me out of a ticket, they mostly just let us know when big updates are coming or if an interesting round is starting up soon. They've never giving us an edge, metagame, or anything of the such.

I know who it is and talked with them. Knowing who it is, I'm doubt they would ever ban without a sufficient reason, but I know that for most of my staff.

My bigger concern, is you bullying a player through the use of your friendship with a staff member.

Bullying? I made an irked idle threat over what was mistaken for metagaming. Besides the person laughed it off. That would be the one and only time I've made such a threat during my time playing on the server. Hell, I've been more of a danger to myself in most circumstances than others in the server.

That's not how it looked to me. We have all the server logs from the last 2+ years. I read through the incident, and it looks to me, as though you were attempting to bully him, but he wasn't having any. To which you responded by exclaiming who your friend on staff was.

As I said, in a fit of pissed at metagaming I blurted it to get him to back off. It was then explained how it wasn't metagaming. Now, this is the only time I've done making such a 'threat', the only other strikes I have against me I can take full blame for with either failure of gun safety and playing a class I didn't fully read up on. For the most part, I've been relatively in order with how things go. If I had questions I asked or looked up, would follow whoever was in charge's orders to best of ability, etc. I can go about things in an orderly fashion. When I figure who/how I'm gonna play in a round, I go all out on it. I do admit to the fault of small 'snap' moments, and while that's no excuse it only shows I do have to work out said problem.

Here's what is going to happen,

I will lift the job-ban, with the understanding that next time you suicide at roundstart it will be PERMANENT.

Second, you will receive a 3-day ban for your in-game threatening of other players. We don't tolerate that here. You may not think it's bullying, but that's what it looks like.
