Are you now or have you been banned on any of them? i was banned on /vg/ once mistakenly and another time for greytiding excessively

Reason for ban (If you have a Permaban, it should be the EXACT MESSAGE YOU GET WHEN YOU LOGIN with the Error code that looks like this: X##XXX##. If you do not provide this EXACTLY you can't be unbanned): No error code, but i know its for ERP, i copypasted WGW onto a piece of paper and dropped it on the floor

Your appeal, including evidence (screenshots, etc): I looked through the rules when i was first banned a week or so ago for my name and i saw the ERP was indeed one of them, but i was unaware that this extended to simply copypasting text onto a paper, because my my logic i thought that it had to include another player. I have clarified with tidomann over private messages and am now completely aware of my mistakes.

To clarify with my naming issue, i am completely unoriginal when it comes to names (as you can see with my ckey aswell) and it took me a good 30 mins of original thinking to come up with what i have as of now.

Depending on the decision from head staff- concerning the perma- I would be ok reducing the 7 day ban to a 3 or 5 day, to give him time to properly read the rules.


This is all at the verdict of head staff. Ignorance is not an excuse, and there is a strong stance on ERP. Maybe he needs 3 months to learn from this.

Clearly you didn't read the rules considering WGW is literally an example of what NOT to do. We have zero tolerance for this stuff, it's in all caps. In addition to being needlessly vulgar, it's low-rp copypasta man.

I read the rules the same way someone would read the terms of conditions, before my offence i had skimmed through the rules and saw that the majority of them are common sense rules that the majority of other servers share, but unfortunately i made my own interpretation of such because under my logic i have always seen ERP as something that is to be done between two characters roleplaying. I do also understand your pains with people not reading the rules because i aswell run a very large community and it really ticks me off when people don't properly read and have myself taken it upon myself to clearly read through them and not skim through them.

no ERP, is literally at the top of the rule list, with giant colors to draw attention to the fact that it's permabannable.
WGW is even an example.

We have a zero tolerance policy, because we have people under age 18 who play here. It can cause problems for us and is something we decided to not tolerate.

I don't forsee this ban getting lifted, as typically these are permanent. I think we've lifted 2 ever.

I will deny this on Thursday. You have until then to make a case, but we are typically very hard on ERP bans and rarely lift them.

It was fun play the while it lasted but a time old ss13 tradition of WGW was my downfall.
