Are you now or have you been banned on any of them? Yogs yes, I started a Clown Apocalypse.

Reason for ban (If you have a Permaban, it should be the EXACT MESSAGE YOU GET WHEN YOU LOGIN with the Error code that looks like this: X##XXX##. If you do not provide this EXACTLY you can't be unbanned): It was miss-using the PA to deliver a satirical message to the crew. I found I was banned the day after.

Your appeal, including evidence (screenshots, etc): I understand that miss-using the PA is taken seriously by some, but I did not think I'd ever get banned for it. I have never done anything as a Staff Officer that ruined a person's round such as OB bomb or the like. I have much experience of command from being a SO and XO, but now that experience is being severely limited. I would have filed a appeal earlier, but I took a hiatus from CM for a few months.

I was in that round and I recall you denying sending that announcement but getting questioned after by the CO and possibly punished IC for it.

Player seems to have kept clear of notes for the past couple months, I'd prefer not see more PA shenanigans even though they weren't the direct cause it doesn't seem. Otherwise I support lifting here.

Every role requires you to either cryo or notify. The only exception is really xeno since their bodies can be taken after 5 mins. Except the queen of course, ahelp that.

Just for clarification- rule 11:

If you need to leave or logout after the round starts for any reason, go to Cryo. If you are unable to get to cryo, Alert Staff. If you just Ghost or log-out, you risk a job-ban....

As long as he promises to not do that again, I don't mind seeing it lifted as well.

I'm somewhat skeptical off the announcement and think it's likely you may have had the same behavior throughout the round since you had logged off without going to cryo. I'd think being in a command role is one of a bit more gravity and notice, and thus has a higher standard than the rest of the crew on their roleplay.

I'd support lifting it, but you should understand the roleplay guidelines and at least try to act with as much diginity as the rank and roles ask for when playing as an SO in the future.

I believe for something like this, which is relatively less severe and doesn't exactly ruin other people's round, they deserve another chance.
I'd like to believe the player would've repented somewhat, and at least did some research on the server rules.

But if anything like this ever happens again there should be some major consequences attached to the next offense.

As the jobbannuing moderator i would be fine with having this lifted, This was from a round where i had to job ban three people from staff officer and the XO aswell, Hotlips has always struck me as a good muhreen meme's aside and i'm sure they would have no further issues arise after getting a second chance. +1 to lifting.

Considering that wasn't even the reason for the ban I'd consider Kep very lucky.

As others have said- only because they have been able to avoid notes for the past month (assuming they have been active) I think they are deserving of another chance

I'd be ok with giving this person another go at being SO as the incident which they received the JB for does not appear to have been one which caused harm to anyone else's ability to enjoy the round in any significant way. Further, they haven't piled up any new notes since the time this ban was applied, and appear to understand that the behavior which landed them the JB in the first place is not acceptable.

Do be sure in the future to ahelp if you must go if you cannot make it to cryo.
