Reason for ban (If you have a Permaban, it should be the EXACT MESSAGE YOU GET WHEN YOU LOGIN with the Error code that looks like this: X##XXX##. If you do not provide this EXACTLY you can't be unbanned): Unknown; I never received any communication concerning this ban, and the first inkling I got was when I checked the occupation preferences window several days later. Most likely it relates to an incident during an Infection round in which I violated MP conduct rules by mouthing off at the CE, and did not properly escalate the situation to the CMP (as would have been appropriate). The reason for my outburst was the CE's overbuilt quarantine checkpoints (which in fairness to him were very secure); the CE's caution was later proven warranted in that very same round. I would have gladly accepted an IC punishment for this, but evidently an admin felt the need to ban me from the security department outright. That said, if this ban is about something else, I'd like to know what it is. Went SSD as an MP.

So you got banned because you didn't go to the cyro-pods at the start of the round. While this may seem harsh you're taking one of the limited spots we have, possibly from someone else. If you have to go you need to go to the cyro-pods. If you can't make it to cyro, ahelp that you need to leave so you don't get in trouble like this. I'm going to assume you're mostly a newer player and you probably didn't really read the rules that well, so I wouldn't mind lifting this assuming you make sure to understand the rules as you seem like you at least RP and haven't gotten in trouble for anything else.

Ah, so it's something else. Yes, I understand now. Thanks for the quick response! I'd only been playing Colonial Marines for a few weeks, mostly as a regular Squad Marine, and that incident was only my second or third outing as an MP--as someone used to occasionally going SSD in the Extended Operations bunks as a regular SM, it didn't occur to me that the MP team would have to conserve slots.

Can't promise you it will get lifted, but I don't see a reason to keep the ban on you (and I'm pretty sure it will be lifted). It may take a few days for Apop/Feweh to decide so just give us some time.
