Are you now or have you been banned on any servers? Which ones?: I was job-banned once on here for going SSD as SL without informing an admin, and once on Paradise for going SSD as the HOP without informing an admin.

Reason for ban: I ordered Alpha Squad to fight Bravo over a piano.

Your appeal, including evidence (screenshots, etc): I unfortunately don't have screenshots, but I do have the story.

Basically, while I was on the front on Ice Colony, a few Alpha marines laid claim to a piano. A few Bravo marines also claimed this piano, and got into a fight with them over the piano.

These 'brave' Alpha soldiers told me that Bravo had attacked them, but either neglected to tell me why, or I screwed up even more and didn't ask for it. I told command Bravo had opened hostilities, and fearing they might be rogue, asked for the right to fire if fired upon. I received a yes from my Staff Officer, and assuming that they had gone over this with command, informed Bravo to cease attacking my men or we would open fire.

Naturally, Bravo freaked out and wondered what the heck my character or myself was on, and things escalated.

Eventually, shortly before I had to go and ended up getting nested by an xeno, I found out that the thing that had caused this mess was in fact a piano.

To call myself stupid would be an understatement, here.

I'm sorry for being one of the stupidest commanding officers, and I'm sorry for letting in game paranoia/metagaming from a few rounds ago paranoia screw everyone's round up.

I'd like to have the role back, though I completely understand if not, due to the massive incompetence on my part.

Eh.... You're notes make me less than enthusiastic to support this being lifted. That being said, you also seem pretty sincere in your appeal, and recognize that what happened was extremely stupid.

I'm gonna go ahead and say +1 to get this lifted, but understand you've been jobbanned from the same position twice in 6 months. If it happens again, it's probably not gonna get lifted.

This ban appeal is something else. I can give you the benefit of not knowing about the piano but in what world would shooting at your own company be a good and logical thing to do? Now your note history for SL is pretty bad. You had a job-ban for SL in the past for going SSD and then you had a note about a possible habit of having to go SSD a lot as SL. Due to the fact you've already had a ban on SL in the past, I feel like it's too early to be lifting it this while it's not even a month old.

That's a fair amount of SL related notes. Including the one where you went on a rampage after being job-banned from SL.

Try again in the future.
