The first thing I would like to do, is to apologize to the community, moderators, admins, and host for my behavior in the past. I know I have made some mistakes while playing CM, and I have done my best to follow the rules of the server as best I can. The job ban that I am appealing today occurred when I just started playing the game, and I have learned a LOT since October of 2017. I feel so stupid looking back on these actions, because now I know so much better. I truly enjoy playing CM, and it pains me when I see an emergency beacon go off, knowing I can't participate. Regardless, I wanted to follow advice I got from a moderator, and wait to make this appeal until I felt that I had served enough time to prove to the community that this type of malicious behavior that I have done in the past will not happen again. So far, I have served this Job Ban for 130 days, and I am hoping that you guys can see a change in my behaviors during that time.

You were given plenty of warnings and bans and you kept breaking the rules. I really don't support this getting lifted right now. As Tharinoma said, play a month or two without being noted then apply again.

Your notes aren't the best, but I remember talking to talk. If it will help motivate you, I'll support getting your job-ban for ERT lifted under the notion you're going to step your act up for good. If you fail and keep getting poor notes, you can expect to be banned from ERT for as long as written history will remember. That or you're just gonna get this denied this attempt and can come back in 30-days to appeal again, hopefully with better notes.

Thanks Emerald. I think I want to leave the decision up to you guys as the staff though, because I think that would be best. I guess what I didn't fully explain in my original post was that I have definitely made mistakes, and I'm definitely not a perfect player. But while I have made mistakes, I thought my original job ban was because my behavior was malicious, and although I have gotten notes for things in January and February, I have certainly not done things maliciously, and I've done my best to try to understand and learn from my mistakes.

I know notes have to be brief, but I wish some of my notes had a little more context to them, like one of my warnings of IC in OOC was because I said something along the lines of, "Queen, the 10 minutes of the ship being locked is almost up, we need to leave or get off of the ship." And while I was warned for IC in LOOC, I talked with the moderator I was being warned by, and we basically agreed that it would neither belong in IC or OOC, but that I should have said it completely differently (I remember the person specifically saying I should have just said, "Queen we need to hurry." The same goes for my recent ban for Xeno metagaming. While I was definitely guilty of crating up materials and melting them, I had a talk with the person who was banning me, and tried to figure out what exactly I did wrong. After talking with the person who banned me, whom I never argued with or tried to get my way out of the ban or anything, I even made a forum post trying to figure out what exactly I was doing wrong. Now I understand the principle of Xenos using, "tools," thanks to that post, but it just confused the heck out of me why melting everything individually was fine, while melting it all at once in a crate wasn't. For reference, that post can be found here - viewtopic.php?f=64&t=16299 - and thanks to the information Jerkface provided, I am now a better player.

I understand if you guys don't think I am ready to have my job ban removed, and honestly, who am I to blame you? But I just felt like I have been behaving in a completely different way since I first started playing, and I felt that I had served enough time to fully reconcile with the original mistake, and learn from it. I can't sit here today and say to you guys that I will never make a mistake again, or I will never get another note, but I can say that I will do everything I can to continue to be the kind of player that you guys as the staff want playing the game.

You never seemed like a bad player, but you do seem to find ways to manage to get in trouble, which I think just stems from trying a little too hard to play as effectively as you can. Remember that if you don't know if something may be crossing a rule, you can just ahelp to ask about it.

We'll lift the ERT ban for you but do not cause any more problems with them again because if you get banned from it again, we probably won't lift it. You don't seem like you're a bad guy but you need to stay out of trouble. If you have a problem or question about something, ahelp it before taking it into your own hands.
