It's been quite some time since i've been able to have the ability to type out another appeal to the admins. It's been a long two months or less (or so) since my last appeal, which ended with daunting words by key management staff, but nevertheless I remain undeterred. I wish to start by typing out yet another fresh appeal, and thank you to anyone who reads this.

To those who are unaware, I am guilty of something called ERP. It's something I was perma'd for months ago now, and since then i've wholeheartedly regretted the decision. Because I am appealing what appears to be a death sentence, I fully am aware that I may not receive mercy or any kind from any staff member, and it would be right of them to do so. I'd even label what I did an act for degenerates, or just simply fucked up. I fully still side with the decision for perma, and it may be very well a long time before I ever see the server again, but this is going to be another attempt at not getting the ban lifted, but perhaps probation at the strictest of limits. I am well aware of how many cases of ERP are ever lifted.

So why place myself under crosshairs again?

Over the course of months that have passed, i've honed almost every single aspect of good quality RP in the three listed above servers. I have not broken a single rule or caused an infraction during my stay in those three servers. In addition, any form of ERP that was present on the server, I became an advocate against. On the server (CM), I have committed no major previous infractions (minus the flashbang in brig as a newbie) and I committed myself to expanding research roleplay to the highest extent when it was still barebones. I helped out admins by cyroing afks, I promoted roleplay, I loved medical, I helped out admins where I was needed. I loved the community (maybe a bit too much) and how the game worked and played out and its mechanics. Every time I boot up SS13, CM was there to scratch a certain itch that no other server could provide. In addition, I have not attempted ONCE to log in with a separate account or anything, out of respect of both staff and the ban.

I know.. it's hard to swallow some facts with no deducible physical evidence, and there is nothing I can offer that will show you that I have changed. My only physical evidence, is my style of writing and what I type here. I want to achieve goals in CM, the right way. I don't want this ban to be appealed off the bat- I am asking for the strictest probation ever. I want to PROVE to you, that I am worth it. That I can change your mind. This game has literally defined SS13 for me, and I want to repay the favor after blatantly breaking a solid rule.
I won't be deterred by what other people say. This community is fantastic, and im willing to give it 100 just for a small chance to be able to prove myself again, to get rid of shit title of being banned for ERP. I mean, it sucks.

There are many who constantly grief and TK or have done worse, effectively ruining what appears to be the round for that person(s) and yet still get unbanned- I NEVER intended for anything like that to happen. What I did (while not any more justifiable) was only done under secret pretense where no one was around, ruining nothing for innocents. I did this to myself and only myself, and I would never subject the community to anything malicious or debilitating.

I still however, like the rule of no ERP. It's something that i've come to terms with, something I regret, and hopefully someone will understand the story. I am a pure advocate against it now, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to prove myself to be ready to have the priviledge of playing some CM again.

I want to thank you so much for reading. I know you are all busy with how popular the server has gotten, so I thank you for that.

I'll probably be getting to this myself tomorrow and I'll have other staff help you in the meantime, but for future reference, please don't use that purple color, because my god. Just stick to the normal text or at least make sure the color you're using is readable.

I believe I was here for this- It was a really blatant example of ERP- it wasnt some WGW shit- it was full on. I cant fathom why you would think that would have been ok.

I cannot defend myself or lie not do i want to, what I did spiraled out of proportion (not control.) Everything that i've done wrong is before you.

Its something I've done to myself which I want to repent for.

It has been a long time since the ban and your first appeal. I still remember the last two appeals, and Feweh saying that your ban would not ever be lifted.

Your notes are not bad but the ERP you did was blatant. It was something that no one should ever do here, since the majority of the players are not adults and ERP really is not a nice thing to do. There are kids playing this game.

While you did something really stupid, you do not seem to be a bad person. That said, I think I could support this getting lifted and you being put in a strict probation.

I don't think you're a bad person, but the ERP is a serious one and one you did break. I can pretty much assure you're pretty much going to have to wait close to, if not a full, year from the ban day to have any chance of this getting lift. Apop is very strict on this, and for good reason. I'm sure he can give you the whole story again about how we only give very minor exceptions to this rule. Maybe when we round June you'll have some better chances, but I still imagine this is way to early for Apop to even think about.

I'm sorry if it was too early, I just wanted to really get a chance to prove that I am a pure advocate against what I broke and that things have changed. If the head of staff still believe that I need more time, I will respect it out of the best interests of the server!

Yeah, you're gonna need more time. We're very unlikely to remove an ERP ban at all, let alone this early. Also I don't believe you're the real mayor of kenya.

I see that other doctor initiated it. Tell me why you decided to go through with another characters roleplay that was seriously rulebreaking instead of ahelping?

I ah.. I gotta admit I was pretty dumb for following along. I mean I cant lie to you, what you see is blantant ERP. I just...I dont know I just went with the flow. I guess at the time I dint memorize or realize the no ERP rule and so now i've been paying the price for ignornance and just straight up stupidity.

His rp led to one thing and another and by then ElDefaultio was there and then bam. I wish I was warned since it was my first serious offense but nah.. thats a luxury I definitely dint deserve at the time. Besides, I probably should have read up the rules a lot better- I only assumed what the rules were, which is ignorance at my part.

The rule very clearly states there is zero tolerance, so you shouldn't have expected a warning for something so blatantly against the rules. ERP bans are not often lifted and it hasn't been that long since it happened. You've also got a few notes in a short period of time.

Do you play often on Yog, Para and Aurora? Some playtime without notes over there COULD help your case.

I don't really expect Apop is gonna give you any real consideration until you go at least 9 months, maybe a year, prior to the ban date.

EDIT: I mean... those notes were really something minor and CM was my first server for anything SS13 related. I was trained PRETTY WELL afterwards by a nice mentor in terms of security. I never intentionally griefed, I was only learning. And Actually as you might see I moved on to maining medical (researcher, medical doc, CMO etc) as I found that more interesting! As for the first job ban, my neighboorhood experienced a blackout as soon as the round started (a damn coincidence amirite) but I got it cleared and as you can see it got lifted in a very short amount of time.

Yes I do! haha its pretty chill there, save for the occasional griefer. I suppose I could go grab some with evidence, sure. Thanks for your optimism but yeah idk if it will help due to the severity of the case. Still, worth a try, right?

I guess what i've done is really damning.. I mean I din't expect mercy, to be fair, I was only hoping for it. I understand that it's vital that you guys make sure every lift/probation is clean and executed; I used to staff on a Gmod Server so while this one isnt technically the same, the core values of staffing definitely carry over and I can see that. And so, if Apop and the senior staff doesn't deem me ready at this time, all I can do is respect it. I just want whats best for the server in the end, and if it doesnt have me in the picture, it is how it is! Thanks for the opportunity.

It's not that we think you're a bad person or anything, but these rules are serious for a reason because having 18+ content on the server while specifically not being an 18+ server could net us in some real trouble if we don't actually step in to stop it. You can also try again in the future, though I just don't think we're going to be able to lift it currently.

Not even for a probation of the strictest level? I want to prove to you that I've changed and that I am completely against such a thing. I want to repay my debt to the server for breaking such an important rule, it was very foolish of me, I simply wish to expand Researcher RP again.

Sorry, we take ERP very seriously. You can appeal again in the future, but there's no promises. Maybe try to play on other servers and get them to speak for you as someone who doesn't ERP or post 18+ content.
