Your appeal, including evidence (screenshots, etc):

I have spent the past months since my ban playing as a squad leader, and other than a minor hiccup from "growing pains", I have learned how to remain more calm, less reactive, and deal with other Marines better; especially when dealing with Griefers per Rule 7. In this time I have began to develop my character on a new leaf, a much more calm leaf, even changing my last name in the hopes of aiding myself in crafting a better representation of a good roleplaying character. I have combed over the rules several times now to insure that I have a better understanding of them; specifically rules pertaining to Griefers, Proper Escalation, and Rule 11. In the future, if my jobban is appealed, then I will shy away from playing the MP role as it is not my strongest role and would rather lead Marines as an XO and hopefully CO someday with my Mobile Infantry mass deployment strategy.

However; the circumstances of my jobban are still somewhat jaded and I would like to clarify what happened on my end. With the ban I failed to mention to whomever banned me (I believe Solarmare?) at the time that I had to respond to an IRL family situation and had no time to ahelp that I would be away for a period of time and I planned on returning. I initially closed the lockdown shutters in the CMP office because I was about to send a fax to HIGHCOM detailing the behaviour of the Commander at that time and did not want to be disturbed.

I apologize for all the notes I have racked up and any difficulty I have caused on your end. I will not repeat the same mistakes again and have learned my lesson in its fullest, I enjoy playing this game. I have put more hours into it than games I have paid 60 dollars for, kinda makes me mad if you think about it, but I digress. I do not want to end up being known as a "shit player". I really enjoyed playing XO and miss it and hope to get better as I continue to play and grow with the community.

So while I want to get this lifted, you've gotten six negative note since we last had the appeal, three of which are serious. You do remember that we said we wanted you to go thirty days without getting any bad notes and we'll get it lifted, correct?

I do remember, since I kept having issues I figured I must've not understood something within the rules so I took the time to comb over it in detail to make sure I understood what I did wrong, especially when dealing with Griefers and Proper Escalation.

Copy-pasting is never a good course of action.

I seen that Apophis specifically stated that you should "Try to get some time without getting new notes and appeal again.", but instead you are now closer to permaban than to getting job-unban.

Since this is most likely gonna get denied, let's have some useful conversation before you go on 1 (or most probably 2 to 3) month delay before making new appeal

I didn't read the rules on proper escalation and dealing with Griefers closely enough, I thought I had an understanding but I didn't leading to me shooting a griefer and getting notes as well as issues with Proper Escalation. With the copy and pasting I was just asking what I should do with my appeal since slc said I should wait.

well, you definitely should wait. Read rules - you have issues - ahelp. Easy as that.
Also, quote from rules: "If you are being griefed: Admin Message. Don't grief back. We'll ban you both and laugh behind your backs."

Most definantly, since the last note I read and reread the rules several times, even down to the Predator rules, to insure I understand it. Since then I have also ahelped more when I have questions about RP shenanigans and dealing with other players.

Denied due to the fact you're not following the basic server while asking to play Command roles. SSD bans don't require you to be flawless, but if you're going to need to show we can trust you to have the ability to play them. Just don't get in serious trouble for 30 days and we'll lift the whole ban.
