I'm not quite sure why I was banned, after doing some reading I discovered that VPN's can get you banned so that could be it, I would like to say in my defense that the wiki rule page: https://cm-ss13.com/wiki/Rules nowhere states that VPN's are bad which is why I had used one, reason I used it is because my school blocks like everything so I just had it running and was going to play a round. the griefing, on the other hand, I have absolutely no idea about, it's most likely a mistake as I legit have no idea how its possible to grief in a game like this and I've never done anything to harm the experience of others.

Vpn's are blocked indeed.
It is a code from another player who did use a vpn.
It does take some time to get around vpn bans.
I can tell you this your notes are empty so it is because of the vpn.

is there any way I can be unbanned due to me not knowing? I didn't have any hostile intent and the wiki rules don't point it out so unless i specifically searched for it I would have had no way to know

EDIT: also if my notes were empty why did it have griefing as a reason?

Well, the people who deal with this have a lot on their plate. So not likely.
We will also need to do some investigation to see if it was your ip,cid or ckey that set it off.
Can I assume you only used a vpn and do not have any alts that are banned?
Nor are you using wine, illegal windows versions or other wierd computer setups?

I only used a VPN, Windscribe to be exact. And no, Bobbylol is my only account. guess I won't be able to play this at school then lol. and also ya, legal windows 8.1 so nothing here could have set it off, was just the VPN doing VPN things. hopefully I get unbanned soon cause I still wanna play ;_;

Replying again just cause like, you said they have a lot on their plate and everything so I understand that, but will I ever be unbanned? and also you should update the rules to include the np VPN thing cause I'm guessing this happens a decent amount

I'm afraid this kind of thing will take quite a while. There are only a few people who can actually handle this kind of ban, and they have a lot of work to catch up on (The person who dealt with this type of ban previously has left the staff team). It is still possible for you to be unbanned despite this. It'll just take a long time.

Wrote an exception for only your ckey, Bobbylol, so it should work. PM me if you're still blocked and don't use VPNs on the server anymore.
