Reason for ban (If you have a Permaban, it should be the EXACT MESSAGE YOU GET WHEN YOU LOGIN with the Error code that looks like this: X##XXX##. If you do not provide this EXACTLY you can't be unbanned): It said I was banned for my username I think, dude sent notifications saying to change a username, but never said who. It was not my fault that he has done this and banned me, he never clarified who so even if he did want it changed he shouldv'e said specifically who :/

Well I said I was new and was playing as a trainee doc, so yes I know what it means but I thought what you were sending was a notifications to all, because it made a noise and it didn't say my name in it. So yes I know what PM means, but I didn't know how it was done in ss13, I just started playing it today.

Why would everyone see a PM (private message) except the intended recipient of a private message? I could not verify any of this with you in game because you wouldn't answer the PMs.

As for the reason I contacted you originally, it was because your name was in violation of our RP guidelines, as characters are required to have a first and last name where yours is just your first name, which normally would just be a warning on first offense, but because you didn't answer the PMs it was upgraded to a ban. I do feel bad about banning you as a new player, but when we contact players, they typically understand that a PM to somebody is directed at them not the entire server and respond to us.

Well, you know why I didnt respawn to your pms I did not know it was a pm in the first place, again I know what pm means, private message, but I thought it was an announcement. And also, I did not respawn to them mainly because you did not address my username, which wouldv'e made it a lot easier for me to know you were speaking to me. I don't understand how you do not understand, seems clear to me, did not know it was a pm, thought it was an announcement, and you never said my name, so how could I've known you were speaking to me?

When you read the text, it would have said something like "Admin PM from Snypehunter: Hey, I need to talk to you." Most people would recognize that as a message specific them, or at least consider responding when the message says "Admin PM from Snypehunter: If you don't respond, I'll have to ban you." Anyways, now you know how the PM system works, so please respond to staff when they PM you.

We don't allow appeals for bans under 24 hours, because they won't get taken care of in time to lift them before the ban expires by itself. Case in point, this ban has already expired.

Make sure you fix your name, which is why he contacted you in the first place. If you have no other questions, this is resolved.

Lets agree that the ban served its purpose

You now know about the PM system and that you have to answer to them

As for the impact this ban has on your history - don't worry about it. Most of the time we are understanding about issues you had but learned from.

I doubt anyone will hold this ban against you, unless you decide to ignore our messages again
