Made an inartful comment in game lobby before an event round. This particular admin seemed to be personally offended and decided to apply a permaban for unrelated prior notes accumulated over YEARS. ETA: Transgender topics are being introduced into school curricula in the US, Canada and Europe in the grade school level, so these are not +18 comments.

This was around March or April, I think, and all the other interactions I had with you after that were bad.

I don't know who you are but most players have excellent and memorable interactions with me through my knowledge of Aliens lore, humour and wit.

Many of your notes come in pairs of 2. Some twice in a day. Some one per day and some 3 days from each other.
But to me it seems you have had a lot of chances to start following all the rules. And many people manage to follow all rules after getting punishment for breaking one.

As sirlodington stated, what you said is very distasteful and quite frankly I'm hesitant to support this since your not providing anything to say you won't do certain stuff again.

Your history is pretty bad also so these things will always weigh against you but sincerity and seeing the error of your ways is the way forward here if you can do such a thing.

To be honest, I don't see how trans-gender stuff is an 18+ topic, it has yet to be demonstrated how my comment violates the rules, but I've definitely not killed any more MPs due to improper escalation since my last time-out.

If there's a sensitivity towards gender-reassignment mechanics in this community, I can be more careful with such comments.

I’m gonna say -1 to this one. Normally I’m more then fine to have bans removed or give second chances, but your notes aren’t great (as stated the notes come in pairs, which isn’t good) and when asked how you have changed for the better since your ban, you have completely dodged the questions and came up with an excuse to make you look as if you haven’t done anything wrong, which your notes say otherwise, and the comment you made doesn’t help either. It’s not so much that it’s 18+ (which even still, i’m not gonna talk to a kid or like a 15 year old about mutilating their genitalia and whatnot) but the fact that it was distasteful and unneccesary to no end. I’m sorry, but I don’t support bringing you back. If you can answer how you’ve changed for the good, or give us any reason to believe it would be wise to unban you, then maybe i’ll take it back and support your return, but for the time being i’m not for it.

It seems like the true motive here is not to a review of the facts, but rather fishing for the appellant to grovel. Which I will not.

The facts are :
You unquestionnably broke the rules multiple times over a long period of time.
You got banned for the last rulebreak.
You make an appeal in which you do not recognise that your actions were at any point against the rules and imply the admin that applied the ban had a bias while dealing with the incident.

To hear you say sorry would be nice. Considering you came to the server so many of us put so much work and effort in, and didn't feel the need to follow the rules we set in place. But that wouldn't be necessary for me to support this, all I need is some kind of insurance you simply won't do it again. The "facts" don't convince me.
