I believe this ban was put in last night (8/17/19). It must have been whenever big red was voted sometime between 9pm and 2am CST (unsure though). I was most likely playing as a sentinel at the time. I think whoever had put in the ban accidentally misread the logs because I haven't melted a podlock ever before, as I am fully aware of what kind of damage that can do to a hive. I don't have access to any evidence proving I didn't do it, but I recall another player being upset over podlocks being melted while I was in medical/admin robusting marines. If someone could look into the logs for this that would be awesome. Thanks guys!

edit - This may have been the round where I saw podlocks had corrosive on them (not from myself) and asked the queen if she had wanted them melted through hivemind. I didn’t clarify that it wasn’t me who melted the podlocks, so I accidentally made myself look responsible.

Yikes. Thanks for not banning me for my past notes. They're pretty atrocious. I would like to point out that 7/16 of my notes took place within the first month of my time on the server and were due to me being a shitter that hadn't read the rules. I think I've improved a lot since I started playing on the server and I'm continuing to do so. I would like my last note and the reason for my role ban to be investigated and removed. I was never pinged by the admin that applied the note, so I wasn't able to clear it up then and there. That would leave me with two warnings for xenomorph. Thanks guys. I'll work harder at getting more space between those bwoinks, or, not getting any at all.

After going threw alot of logs.. i found this [23:42:08]ATTACK: Young Sentinel (537) (barrybobble) spat acid on the Podlock. So it would seem that you did indeed melt the padlock.

Thanks for going through all those logs. I firmly don't believe I melted the podlocks leading into eta or lambda labs which is what the queen was talking about. I'm thinking it must have been a virology podlock that I melted because I would never be stupid enough to melt one of the podlocks leading into eta or lambda. Either way, the logs don't lie and the queen's rule at the time was not to melt podlocks. If you all agree that the ban should still stand, is there any chance of re-appealing after a couple months if my notes stay clean?

Your appeal doesn't say what you shouldn't be doing now, which doesn't really give a reason to lift this ban now.

Sorry, I forgot to include that. I've been pretty lackluster with the rules in the past, especially as a xeno. I'll focus more on doing right by the server/other players as well as sticking more closely to the rules. I definitely shouldn't be ignoring queen's orders.

Looking through the logs, you did indeed melt a podlock. Interestingly, so did the queen. In her ahelp, she said that the podlocks were melted with strong acid, but this might have been a mistake. Let's assume for now that you were the one to melt the podlock.

It's encouraging that you're down to about one note per month from of 5 notes per month. I say that half jokingly, because obviously most players do not have such issues. None of your notes look too egregious to me, just filled with overzealousness and a general disregard for the rules (particularly the first few). As long as you're willing to commit to following the rules better as a xeno, which involves following the queen's orders and doing good things for the hive, I think it should be fine to lift this.

I was the one who slapped this, from what I could see in the logs it was just him who melted pod locks so I assumed it was him who dunnit, I tried PMing them but they had already logged.

While this ban can be lifted you do need to follow the rules after it, it wouldn't be lifted for a while if another job ban had to be placed.
