Ban removal?

Post by Dionant » 05 Sep 2018, 00:25

To begin with, this is a 180-min ban which is wrong.
Taking Dylovene pills then shooting myself doesn't harm anyone but me... Seriously.. That's grief? Who do I grief? I'd simply like to have the ban removed from my profile, logs, however you call it.

Your Byond ID: Dionant

Character Name: Karin Finkel

Type Of Ban (Job-ban (include the job), Timed Ban, Permaban): Timed ban.

Admin who banned you (if known): One-click ban system | Ghostdex

Total Ban Duration: 180 minutes

Remaining Duration: Arround 170.

What other servers do you play on? On SS13? Uh.. Oracle Station?

Are you now or have you been banned on any servers? Which ones? Never got banned before.

Reason for ban (If you have a Permaban, it should be the EXACT MESSAGE YOU GET WHEN YOU LOGIN with the Error code that looks like this: X##XXX##. If you do not provide this EXACTLY you can't be unbanned): EORG

Link to previous appeals for the same ban (if applicable): -

It's probably already expired, but when you generate any friendly fire combat logs, it's an automatic ban.

I didn't actually shoot anyone.
I was trying to figure why I couldn't shoot myself, thought the safe was on. (I was going to drop to the floor because of the dylovene soon, so I was in a hurry)

I just don't want to keep that ban in my logs, I didn't do anything that deserves a ban... Who do I harm by killing myself?

So, yeah, I just don't like the fact I've been banned for that.

At the end of round a massive warning pops up about EORG and the fact it is a 3 hour immediate ban. Even if it's you shooting yourself, just because the round is over doesn't mean you can stop acting like a marine.

Don't fire your gun at round end to avoid EORG bans

Theres a big message that says any EORG wont be tolerated at round end and when staff see the logs we just take instant action in lieu of delaying the round end to investigate.

EORG notes are not considered anything evil that would be held against you unless you got multiple of them in a month.

Doubt the note would be overturned, and your ban has probably already been automatically removed.

Alright. I was worried, It's been my first ban in years...
If it's nothing major, I'll simply use this appeal post to clear any missunderstanding if it appears.

You can close the topic, thank you!

Resolved, ban Autoexpired. At the end of the round doesn't mean end of RP, you shouldn't be commiting EoRG, Anything combat related that generates logs, If you don't wanna get banned, don't be shooting at the end of the round.

Additionally: Appeal Forum's rule 3.
