Following the end of previous Prison round, which had me as aCO for most of it, I decided to announce "Operation Tear Gas has failed" in the previous round chat following it's end. I tried to copy and paste this comment and put it in the General chat, but becuase I right clicked the comment and hit copy, without highlighting it first, the comment never copied. So when I went into General chat, pasting and hit enter, it uploaded the image instead. I was too late to hit cancel and deleted it the second it appeared. A couple of people noticed and reacted to it, to which I clarified it was a mistake. About 10 minutes later, someone tagged Lumdor and told them what I did, I admitted to it and explained how it happened, and then Lumdor told me that I can appeal the ban.

I don't believe I should be banned over an honest mistake that I rectified immediately. I wasn't actively posting porn and I wasn't leaving it there for everyone to see. If you look at the logs, you can see the deleted image was posting immediately after what I said in Last round chat.

You posted furry porn. And from the reaction of the general chat, it was not just a few people that saw it.

And from what people said it was horribly disgusting which is why people were spamming and PMing me.

If you read the chat, you'll note that most of those people that were "horribly disgusted" were originally asking what I posted. The conversation moved on multiple times but came back to it and related topics a few times.

I was a witness to what happened in the discord. Its not about how many people saw it, its the fact that it happened. Its a serious rule break, and it definitely did not sit right with the people who DID see it.

I'm posting as a character witness, my 12 year old brother was watching me play CM and I went to discord and he saw this and started questioning this. How will I explain this to my mother? This was honestly horrible and he also plays pokemon... Please stop this sick shit and don't ever even think about having a picture like that saved. Its so disgusting...
EDIT: For any staff members who think I made a meme post I do have a little brother who from time to time watches me play CM since I always play this shit and he's always asking why I'm playing a 2D spessman game. I am not trolling I'm being 100 percent serious all jokes aside he saw this shit.

The key point here should be that it was not intentional and was rectified immediately. The people that did see it barely had time to tell what it was, as no one could even point out what the pokemon was until I informed them. I fail to understand the purpose behind punishing a mistake from an unsuccessful copy attempt.

I also find it highly convinient that Audi's brother was apparently watching him play the game and that he then tabbed into discord at the exact same second the image was up before I removed it. As Ranged said, the image was gone almost instantly and the people that did say it made it immediately known, which was only 1 or 2 people (I would have an exact number but I no longer can see the discord chat for obvious reasons)

Edit: after a brief moment of pondering, if we let this possible accident slide, people will be "accidentally" doing the same thing in the future, since they see that you can get away with that.

Fair enough. I would just like to ask Amaxin what exactly I am supposed to remorseful about? Should I be sorry that I'm a furry? Should I be sorry that I didn't highlight the message I wanted to paste? Should I be sorry that I couldn't delete it faster? Would me apologising even change anything? And if not, why bother? As far as I'm concerned, this is a simple issue that is being blown out of proportion by people who are biased against me, even going as so far to bring up false claims to sabotage my appeal.

I would also like to mention that 2 moderators were aware of what happened almost immediately after I deleted the image becuase they both commented shortly after. No action was taken until Lumdor was tagged 10 minutes later and I admitted to everything and didn't try to hide anything, even after the first thing Lumdor said was "The image has been deleted"

Also, I would like you to find a single person that describe what was actually in the image, and if they can't, then it should prove that they can't be "disgusted" by it when only 2 people saw it, one of them being Avalanche I believe.

I at no point stated that there was no problem with posting pornography infront of minors. I am making the point that no minors saw it. It was not intentional. And it was removed within 2 seconds of being up.

Look, I am deeply sorry for the trouble I have caused and I understand that there are rules in place for a reason. It was a mistake to post an appeal within an hour of the ban occuring when it was fresh on everyone's minds and emotions are heavy. So if it's alright with Freemysoul, I would like to redo my appeal at a later date, most likely after I've been relocated to a new residence as I'm in a stressful situation at the moment and would prefer to come back to this when that's all been resolved.
