First, we don't take appeals for 24 hours or less. Again, those rules you should be reading...

Second, you were told, a few times, to pay attention to the rules.

You fullstripped someone in xenobiology, then slashed them several times. For that I warned you to read the rules, and dropped you back to drone.

Then, you continued to fullstrip at least 2 more marines. I gibbed you, and told you to pay attention to the rules, as a final warning.

You told said:

[22:29:00]ADMIN: PM: RisingFury/(alien drone (282))->Apophis775/(Ender Wiggin): not my fault the server rules are shit

So, instead of taking pity on you, like i had been, i just gave you the standard punishment for breaking the same rule several times. a 24 hour ban.

Now, if you want to play on CM again, READ THE RULES.

They are not a suggestion, and ignorance is not an excuse.

Additionally: If you continue to full-strip, you will receive longer bans, and eventually a permaban.

Understandable that you think that.

I think it's bullshit you ignore the rules and call them shit.

Our rules are not just a smattering of random things thrown together. We've spent several months refining and adjusting the rules. The rules are in place, to government behavior/interactions that we can't control with code. These rules were written by my staff and myself (my, being a game design teacher). They have been CONSTANTLY adjusted, to be as minimally invasive to the game as possible. So, just because you may have one view of them, doesn't really mean you can ignore them.

The reason, full-stripping is not allowed, is partly for lore, partly for balance. The aliens NEVER fullstripped the marines (to the point that, sometimes marines were able to detonate grenades while still stuck in nests). Additionally, not fullstripping them, gives the marines at least a minor escape chance, restoring some of the balance, especially since, once a marine is infected, they are basically "out" unless they are skilled. THis, gives those skilled marines, a CHANCE.

No, I don't hate people, or even really keep grudges.

As pretty much anyone will tell you, I am nearly always fair. In fact, if anything, my mistake here, was gibbing you, instead of just banning you, because typically, if you break a rule twice, you get the 24-hour boot.

Permanent Ban shortly will be placed.

We have forum rules too and you've just broken them, Mr. James. You've posted ban appeal under 24 hours, not able to keep calm.

I don't think you'll behave on the server like this.

I don't think a permanent ban is necessary unless he further ignores rules in-game, but if you want, make the perma-ban request topic in the staff area.
