Job Ban Ban Appeal

Post by Isaac Harlock » 06 Dec 2015, 09:45

Byond ID: RougeRain

Character name: (Don't recall) current is Isaac "One-Eye" Harlock

Admin who banned you: Don't recall

Initial duration: Job Banned Until Appeal

Duration remaining: Continual

Reason for ban: What happened was I was playing as the Commander and honestly had no idea what I was doing, and most of the people wouldn't listen no one showed up for briefing and I over the chat stated "If everyone isn't here for briefing in 10 minutes i'm killing myself." And no one showed up so I blew my brains out. I was banned from all head jobs very fairly I don't disagree or think I shouldn't have received a ban.

Your appeal, including evidence: No evidence unless an admin would like to vouch for me, i've been playing for a while now I understand the rules and how to play the different roles now more then I did then. And I would like to be unbanned from the jobs so that I can begin playing on the server to the fullest. And for whatever its worth i'm genuinely sorry for what I did, I really enjoy this game and didn't mean to ruin the round for anyone.

Yeah as I stated I understand that, during the time of my ban I had a severe lack of experience. Its probably been a few months now sense the ban, and i've played on the server every day sense still. I'm not trying to say I didn't do anything wrong I clearly did, I recognize what I did wrong and have learned from it I just feel that I've had enough time playing on the server to attempt to have the ban lifted so that I can show that I do know what i'm doing now. and I understand the rules and regulations of the server both ICly and OOCly.

You committed suicide as a head-role, and those are very essential to a rounds progression. Get to know the command-roles by playing along side them and looking for good examples.
You also had no reason to commit suicide in the first place, so keep that in mind.

I'm all for second chances, so if you can avoid killing yourself and can do your job right? +1

I'm all for giving people second chances. And it looks to me like you deserve one.

I really respect it when people admit their mistakes. I think it's a very admirable thing to do.

+1 from me.

I'm not sure about the rules for this section (couldn't find any) but just incase this gets missed dude literally just got banned for making up fake orders from the Bridge Crew to kill all survivors while playing as an SL.

Yeah I just tried to connect and noticed the ban, I didn't really realize until after I had done it that I had taken this to far. So i'm going to be taking a break from squad leader, and ask apophis to take this appeal down. I'll probably try appealing again in another month or so. I leave for basic training in march so i'll probably wait until i'm in my A-school to post a new appeal.
