Ban Appeal - Gnugnu12

Post by gnugnu12 » 15 Dec 2015, 14:18

Byond ID: Gnugnu12

Character name: Enrique Magor

Admin who banned you: Coroneljones

Initial duration: 1440 Minutes

Duration remaining: Probably about 1430 or 1420 Minutes, somewhere around that.

Reason for ban (EXACTLY what it says when you try to log in): Breaching Sulaco with the SADAR

Your appeal, including evidence:

So aliens got aboard, I had a SADAR I got from a dead marine( I wasn't a specialist and we couldnt clone him) and this was my first time with the weapon,
so I loaded AP as I thought "oh armour piercing, so I "assume" it doesnt do explosive damage and just concentrates it all on the target (kinda like a bullet on steroids), which... when I fired unfortunately to my dismay it did not... and infact tore a sizeable hole (3x3) in the hull of the sulaco, people started saying stuff in LOOC to which I responded saying that I was sorry and didnt expect armour piercing to explode seeing as its armour piercing.

Then once the Admin ( Head-Admin ) Coronel Jones came on and said "I heard there was heresy" and then "I came as fast as I could" (all in caps) so I fessed up on the "askadmin" saying "I confess it was my bad, didnt think SADAR "AP" ammo exploded like that. (exploded at all, I should have put...) and was instantly banned, no word back no nothing.

Alright, I was watching the entire thing. You shot the rocket 2 times. You should have learned your lesson the first time you shot.
Elijah Makus [Sulaco (CO)] says, "Some crazy son of a bitch killed the queen with his bare hands"
Reenus Turner asks, "Do you got a bipod I can put on my knife?"

I was also there as well, and I just believe you need to go over our rules again or read them through as it states that exact situation in the breaching rule which you broke.

For reference the rule is here:

Code: Select all

No Intentional Breaching Walls Until further notice, any intentional breaching is dis-allowed. So that means, no firing rockets on the sulaco, no firing rockets at the prison, and no intentionally breaching to space through walls or windows.

yea, I also had a look on forums and found why its dis-allowed until further notice, something to do with working out some mechanics so that it doesn't fuck up the game or make it too one sided towards aliens or marines.
