Mdom ban appeal cont'd

Post by mdom » 05 Jan 2016, 08:52

The previous thread was locked. Unfortunately when I try to log in it says access denied, any idea why?

Apophis775 wrote: Should be fixed. My suggestion is that you make sure your not using a VPN or Exit node in case it wasn't a CID spoof.

It appears to be working with other ss13 servers.

Our specific server blocks TOR and VPN exit nodes. It's something I made myself.

Let me check if your IP is getting caught.

the IP your posting with on the forum, is not blocked or anything.

If it's saying ACCESS DENIED there is something else up. Is your Byond fully up-to-date? I know that was an issue when we updated.

If you are using some sort of Ban Evasion or CID spoofing tool, that might be an issue, as I've created countermeasures to some.

The best option you have to connect, is to use no VPN or VPS services, no IP masking, no nothing, just a straight connection.

Or, if you using the same computer as wer6, that might cause it, as he's "blocked" on the host Byond friends list, thus, it will deny connections.

I just re downloaded byond. No luck.

I have no spoofing systems installed on this laptop or anything else. Is there any way to check to see if such software is installed or active on a computer? I apologize for the inconvenience that this is causing.

I don't know who wer6 is.

As far as I know, this is a straight connection. But, is there a chance that a router would have a built in vpn that would cause issues?

I woudn't like to meddle in the ban apps of other people but I had the same issue for aprox. a month. Though the weirdest thing with my case was that I coudn't even acces the website. Just wanted to inform you that this isn't the first time it happend.
The issue resolved itself after a while.

Without knowing exactly what /tg/ did there's nothing I can really do. I don't see you in the ban list, and unless it's giving you a ban code+reason, I can't see anything preventing you from logging in.
