Due to the nature of the being being delivered after the round was over and without previous warning by the Staff Member in question, I am unable to provide information and screenshots of the situation that resulted in this appeal being made. As such, I will begin by apologizing if the following appeal will be based entirely on my own word and expressed only throught words.

The ban in question was issued during a round in which I was the Researcher within the Sulaco and decided to tinker mostly with chemicals in a bit of a comic relief manner, while at the same time providing the crew and medical staff with whatever improvements I was able to discover during my tenure within the Research Division. After causing an incident in which myself and the CMO both grew massive pink afro hairs in seconds, following by entire loss of body hair, I turned my efforts towards the creation of several grenade types, that could provide aid to the marines down at the Planet, which at the same were seemingly in a slow advance towards the Alien Hive.

While taking a newly created weapon towards a marine in order to request him to test it for me, I primed the grenade by accident, towards which lag also contributed. As soon as I became aware of the situation, I yelled RUN to the nearest marines and ran towards the most concealed corner of the ship I had available, the one Nortwest of maintenance in order to minimize the damage caused by the grenade.

As soon as the object exploded, killing me in the process, I Ahelped the Staff Team informing them of the accident, with the following words, or at least similar: "Boss, I fucked up." Followed by informing said Staff Member of the incident in order to prevent further damage to the round.



Now, I by no meant feel entitled to anything, and merely wish to appeal to the Staff Team, under the premise that as you can see above, I fully aknowledged my mistake and attempted at all times not only to minimize the damage, but also informed Staff Members right away of the incident. Instead, I discover that I have been banned, several days later because at the time, I was not informed by anyone that I would still receive punishment.

Furthermore, the ban seems to have been motivated by previous infractions as a member of the medical team, as you can see by the following Log:

Now, the sole infraction I have within the medical division was a warning for poking the CMO with two anesthetic injectors due to an -IC- plot in which the CL had offered payment and progression within Weyland-Yutani if I aided him in the recovery of the specimen. The reluctant CMO concealed a Corgi brought from the planet after several of our requests to have it handed over to us. Seeing as he would not be moved, anesthetics, followed by using his ID to open the office and -returning- it after the deed was done was by no means an offense that would escalate this into a permanent Job Ban.


To conclude, for me, I feel this permanent and seemingly non-announced jobban to have been way too much escalated, and I request that this case is evaluated once more, offering myself to accept whatever consequences come out of it.

From your wording, it makes it sound like you're belittling the severity of your actions, which I frown upon. For example:

I'd much prefer if you came clean instead. When you start saying stuff like, "for poking the CMO with two anesthetic injectors due to an -IC- plot", it really strikes me that you haven't learned from your mistakes.

As I have stated in my first post, I am appealing to a Job Ban that was issued to and I will quote once more:

Now, if as the list states, my sole previous offense was the aforementioned IC issue with the CMO, then by all means I have the right to present that evidence as it stands. A single offense, which in itself wasn't that grievous.
Regarding having learned or not from my mistakes, I have not caused any other incident with anesthetics ever since I was first warned by the Staff Team. While I have understood that such situation is not indeed correct, I also have the right to maintain an opinion regarding it and I like to think we are allowed to have opinions, provided we don't act on them, which as you can see, I haven't.

I am also not trying to contest my entire warning list, simply a situation which I find unfair seeing that the punishment was based on evidence and behaviour that, in my opinion, does not warrant the resulting Job-Ban. And to be frank the reason given was:

"Previous offenses in medical and breaching the Sulaco as researcher with a grenade."

Since what was presented as evidence for this ban were specific situations, I contest those only and see no reason to bring my entire note record into the fray, unless of course, the judgement of this evaluation states that the ban is to maintain due to the entire note record. But as long as it isn't, and as stated by the specific notes, it wasn't, I will continue to contest what I saw as an escalated punishment, in which the presented evidence alone does not warrant the job-ban.


As to Feweh's post and since you pick up on my entire record:

You wrote in that note, and broadcasted it in public at the time, that I was the person to blame for the welded airlocks and watched marines die without unwelding it. Well, as I informed you at the time and you still ignored, the XO was the person welding the things. I was, and after asking you to look into better, blamed for someone else's mess. My crime, were the plasteel barricades, which were removed by you and the airlock incident happened afterwards. Interesting fact, I had no welder fuel to save those marines because I had spent it welding vents.

So from what I can see here you where banned by jake for the gernade but he did not know that the situation was already handled by kewii.

As shown above the situation was handled before jake and lost came in and started looking into it without knowing that other staff had handled it beforehand so to me it looks entirely like this ban was misplaced and that this spefifc jobban relateing to the situation be removed.
