Well, briefing was devolving into chaos in the round in question, and everyone was being very silly. as a sadar spec, I did a silly thing that I have done many times before: I stuck the sadar tube in my mouth, which normally gets a reaction from marines, but is perfectly harmless, as the sadar can't FIRE on the sulaco, so it just makes a click. Imagine to my surprise then, to find that THIS time, for some arcane reason the sadar fired, but didn't fire, a gas cloud came out, and i instantly dropped dead. I think that might be a bug? Anyway I copped a ban since it sure looked like I had randomly suicided, but this was totally not my intention. Sorry.

Hmm. I know the SADAR smoke change had some bugs attributed to it. When I get the chance later today I'll look into reproducing this bug, if it is one, and get back to you.

In the future I'd suggest not loading the SADAR then.

Simply because i specifically stated not to fool around in the briefing and cause problems.
We had 100 players online and it was chaos.

Bad time to fool around with the suicide verb, but since i banned you ill let another head staff decide.

Ok, fair enough, thanks. Like i said, being silly I fully admit, but a sadar killing you when you stick it in your mouth - considering you can't even fire it on the sulaco seems like a bug to me.
