Your appeal, including evidence (screenshots, etc):I know this could have happened, but I didn't try to have it happen. 5 or so marines and a gun or so were sucked out when I hit the shutters button, I was trying to *open then close them quickly. Unluckily, an airlock door was open or opened and the sucking happened, so peeps died and a gun or so were lost. I understand that this was a bad and I goofed up, and the point is clearly across. I'm not going to be messing with the shutters button at all. A supposedly harmless gesture went sour from an airlock being opened, so never again. I just want this at least trimmed to three hours, because I fully understand what I did was wrong and should have been expected. This is the first time I've been in trouble with the shutters, and the last time.

My personal opinion about this all.

Opening the shutters in itself is a shitty and pointless thing to do, I even vouch to have them locked shut in transit, as it only causes trouble.

Effectively ruining the round for five other marines over it happening isn't something to be overlooked lightly. Coming from a good, competent regular on the server, I was taken back when I found out it was you who did it.

Simply, you should have known better, and I found a day to be appropriate for how badly you fucked the rounds for the victims involved.

I know it caused an inconvenience for them, but I don't need a day off to think on this and three hours punishment is plenty for this. Even more so, since I attempted to talk it out and made this appeal post even. I was messing around and screwed up, and I fully comprehend what happened. I'm not going to fuck with the shutters ever again, and I support the idea of them being locked in transit.
