Reason: Mass released phoron and started a fire on Sulaco hangar as aliens attacked, killed numerous aliens and marines rendering the hangar deck completely useless and the round essentiall over

Your appeal, including evidence (screenshots, etc): I released phoron in the observation area of engineering, and set up an infra-red beam linked to an ignitor so when the xenos came, they would set it off and be burnt to a crisp. Feweh asked in OOC who released phoron, and I sent an A-help, stating that I did - expecting some kind of discussion about it. However no, I am banned with so much of a question as to why, and apparently phoron got into the hangar, and killed marines...I have no idea how this happened, however it might be related to the second phoron tank which was stolen from the hangar area as I was setting up the trap. I even asked over radio who stole the phoron, so this may have not been me all along...

As a player of this match the second that the aliens had landed on the ship all this photon started flooding in from engineering, all I can say is that so many aliens were killed due to this and atmos was absolutely fucked afterwards, now you may have not meant to do thisband cause a server wide shitstorm but that is what happened.
What I say to this is wait out the three days and when you come back try not to touch the phoron again because i can tell you anytime people mess with phoron to use it as a weapon, it usually goes badly.

The round was never restarted with the SM, and that was because I was the only MT and I couldnt work out how to set it up properly. And I do agree using Phoron as a weapon is a TERRIBLE idea, and I am never going to touch the stuff again. I can only learn from these mistakes, and I would like to point out that after a chat with freemysoul, I have set up the SM perfectly every time. I apologise for ending the round... I thought it would stay in engineering.

EDIT: Alright, I understand the fuckup on my part - do not mess with the strange and mystical being which is known by the name of atmos....it never ends well. I realise now after thinking about it that I did fuck over the round for quite a few people, and if you guys want to leave it on a 3 day, its up to you. Anyway, catch you after the ban is either (hopefully) lifted/or after three days.

So I was in both the SM round and the phoron round. The SM round seems like a total accident, and I really don't think it should be taken into account on this. The phoron round is definitely trickier, but I was a BO and saw a lot of what happened. First off, using phoron as a weapon is fucking moronic, so you did fuck up there Russell; however I did see Rifler yell over the radio multiple times for no one to open engineering. This definitely makes me thing that Rifler never planned to release it station-wide and for it to just be an engineering trap for if the aliens got into engineering. Was this a stupid idea still? Yes, but it definitely seems like someone else released it into the rest of the ship by not listening to the multiple warnings Rifler transmitted.

Either way, I'm just a dude, I don't really have say in anything, but I just wanted to add some perspective here. It seems like Russell did something stupid that was contained, but then someone else's stupid uncontained Russell's stupid. I think they've learned their lesson and a three day is a little harsh, but again, I'm just a dude.

Yes, the aliens opened Engineering as they always do releasing Phoron into all the lower decks.
