Dninja2010's MP Job ban for mutiny

Post by Crab_Spider » 20 Oct 2016, 21:05

Your Byond ID:
Dninja2010
Character Name:
John Rhodes

Type Of Ban (Job-ban, Timed Ban, Permaban):
Job-ban

Admin who banned you (if known):
Snypehunter007

Total Ban Duration:
Indefinite

Remaining Duration:
Indefinite

What other servers do you play on?
I do not play on any other SS13 servers, besides this.

Are you now or have you been banned on any of them?
No.

Reason for ban (If you have a Permaban, it should be the EXACT MESSAGE YOU GET WHEN YOU LOGIN with the Error code that looks like this: X##XXX##. If you do not provide this EXACTLY you can't be unbanned):
I incited a mutiny against CO for the round, Dick Bold.

Link to previous appeals for the same ban (if applicable):
N/A

Your appeal, including evidence (screenshots, etc):
Although Dick Bold was somewhat unfit as Command, and what he did wasn't professional (crafting a makeshift bar in the Bridge, ordering Bravo Squad to retrieve a Booze-O-Mat for said bar. After the mutiny, not being aware of the execution procedures or how Marine Law worked.) I take full responsibility for the effects I have created for my recklessness, and putting another player into critical condition while trying to escape the consequences of my actions.
You will never be as bad as the baldie who picked up a tactical shotgun while a hunter was pouncing on top of a CMO for 4 seconds, with his only response being to pace around before being decap'd by said hunter. You are not Brett Kimple, and you never will be. You are not the reason why I regular MP.

I had failed to take that into consideration.

Please familiarize yourself with marine law first of all.

Mp's have a habit of failing to understand that every "bad guy" they apprehend is still a player and their round can be drastically ruined by the MP's actions, the rules are strict because of this, we expect a cool head when it comes to MP work.

The rules on mutiny are also not marine law, but server law, familiarize yourself with that as well.

Understood sir. Not going to happen again, but I'll just reflect on that.

Unless anyone has anything further to state, I feel the ban in place should last for atleast one further week considering the exact note placed upon you

Banned from Military Police - As MP, started a mutiny as MP because he was bored. Was unable to warn him due to him DCing. 19th October.

I suggest you reapply for this appeal in future, but for now, my say is no.

Do you feel this is fair? Do you wish to ask anything?

Totally appropriate for a multitude of reasons.

I agree. Thank you for your good composure.

Like Whistles said, the best thing to do is give it some more time.
