RE: NEW IDEA - DOG TAGS
Just putting in my thoughts....
How would the dog tags doors be able to be identified by ID computers and doors.... Or just.. "Nanomachines, son."

Could have some black outline on dog tag and possibly little bigger with organized keychain.

RE: NEW IDEA - DOG TAGS
Hnnnng, I NEVER make black outlines (I can darken the outline though!). As for the chain, I really just modeled that off of some real dog tags, but yeah, I'll batch up something new for you.UnknownMurder wrote: Could have some black outline on dog tag and possibly little bigger with organized keychain.

Erm. Pardon me, I'm sort of tired but... Black inscribed scribbles inside dog tag. I don't usually think properly when checking at night.

Eh, not really a fan of this. It's a tad too shiny and the outline is too dark. (And the chain should be a bit longer)SecretStamos(Joshuu) wrote: Mind if I try my hand at this? Give me a couple of minutes.

I love em, Although the right tag on the standing one appears to be a little small.SecretStamos(Joshuu) wrote: Mind if I try my hand at this? Give me a couple of minutes.

RE: NEW IDEA - DOG TAGS
Making the dog-tags intentionally hard to spot serves a purpose in real life, however it doesn't necessarily translate well in-game. Icons in SS13 should be easy to spot and distinct first and foremost. Reducing icon visibility for the sake of adhering to specific representation, in my opinion, serves only to hinder gameplay.apophis775 wrote: Actually dog tags are specifically NOT shiney.

RE: NEW IDEA - DOG TAGS
Made a quick resprite of mine.
32x32 Version
I've added a bit of writing and gave the chain more a ball-looking feel.

Re: NEW IDEA - DOG TAGS
Couldn't we just change the sprite for the ID slot to a sprite more fitting of a necklace and then just change the sprite of an Id to the Dog tag sprite and boom it's done with minimal effort?
Probably over simplifying this but it seems like a good fix for the dilemma which is the dog tags as ID's.

Re: NEW IDEA - DOG TAGS
We could rename the id slot to "neck" or something like that, then then resort the id's to a dog tag so the coding wouldn't need to change much unless you would want to rename "id" to "dog tags"
