Persona: Jeff is certainly one of the more quiet types. He tends not to start conversations with groups, though he is very friendly if someone strikes on up with him. He is noticeably anxious around women who would be considered attractive, however. How this impacts combat performance is TBD. Jej has been noted in the past to have a very angry and vindictive side if someone gets on his nerves, although this is a hard feat for one to accomplish, as he is a cool cat.
History: Records are sparse due to a simple, working class upbringing. Born in the small city of Duluth, Minnesota, back on the big blue marble. Jej grew up hunting, working chores on his family's farm, and later on working in the iron mines common in his area. He was intended by his family to attend university on a government scholarship, though his distaste for deadlines, lots of people, and the city, Jej decided to enlist at the USCM Recruitment Office-Minneapolis at the age of 18 in order to escape from his family's wishes. Relations: Jej was recently transferred to the Sulaco from an assignment at a mining base on Mars. As such, he has not developed many relationships. We have noted the following however that may grow in time. These transcripts have been gleaned from his PDA journal through remote access.
John "Spartan" Murray: Jeff appears to appreciate Murray's attitude. Jeff has noted in his PDA's journal function that "Spartan seems like a good bean. I would like to get to know him, maybe have a beer together. The USCM needs more men like him, hardasses who don't get spooked, eh?"
