Full Name: Michael Thomas Pixton
Nickname(s): 'Pixel', 'Twitch', 'Stub'
Age: 31
Birth date: 06/12/2119
Gender: Male
Position: Marine, Combat Engineer, Squad Leader
Notable traits: Switches between a cheery nature and bouts of odd humour at his own expense. The occasional odd twitch. Bit of a temper when he gets going. Holds grudges.
Persona: Michael is not the most social of folks, although not through lack of trying. He can be quiet when it comes to talking, but every now and again comes out of his shell with a cheery demeanour, almost to the extent where he comes off a bit weird. He's kind, often putting other's needs before his own, which unfortunately is sometimes his downfall, even having days or even weeks without a decent night sleep to come up with a solution to someone else's problem.
History: Michael was born during the rainy summers of London, into a household of five, consisting of his mother (a young woman from France), father (a slightly older man from Dallas), two older sisters and younger brother. Until the age of six, he was raised by both his parents, however when his father enlisted into the marines, his mother continued to raise them alone. While his mother worked in a local school as a teacher of History, his sisters would "babysit" him and his brother until their mother came home in the evenings. He had a very sheltered life, as Michael attended the school that his mother taught at, and excelled in practical and logical classes like woodwork and maths. He did well in primary and secondary school, and went on to study Maths, Physics, Engineering and Chemistry in college, taking all four subjects to A2 level with no clear sign of struggle. At the age of 18, Michael attended and excelled at the University of Cambridge, achieving a PhD in Engineering Physics at the ripe old age of 23, and moved to New Mexico where he spent a couple of years as a technician for a demolition firm.
At the age of 25, Michael was taken into custody for one account of bank robbery, and several accounts of arson, assault and battery, as well as possession of an unlicensed firearm. During his sentence, he was introduced to a recruiter from the United States Corporal Marines, and his sentence was exchanged for his service to the marines. After training for six months to become a marine, Michael was chosen for his proficiency with tools over his rifle, and trained for an extra three months in order to be promoted to a combat engineer. Now, after almost five years of practice in the field, he is beginning to truly grasp his skills as a marine, preferring to assist his team with smarts and tools rather than pure firepower. If you don't count a turret as pure firepower, that is.
Basic appearance: Michael is a shortish, seemingly scrawny chap, standing at about 5'6", with a soft, almost child-like face. His eyes are gentle, seemingly friendly orbs of emerald green, and a scruffy set of dark brown hair, often flattened and a bit greasy from being under his helmet. An oddly ectomorphic build, with thin limbs but a slightly pudgy stomach. Has little to no facial hair, save for a shrimpy, almost non-existent excuse of stubble settled around pale, thin lips. A small, dent-like scar rests on the tip of his nose, and a flat scar is visible from the left of his bottom lip heading towards his chin at a length of about an inch. Michael also has a prosthetic right hand, starting from just below his wrist.
Likes: Little kind acts, friendly banter, warm campfires, hot chocolate.
Dislikes: Spiders, loud mouths, people who leave grubby fingerprints over his gear, wet socks.
Strengths: Quick on his feet. Very team orientated, even if he isn't vocal about it. Efficient with his hands. Relatively smart. Good sense of hearing and vision. Proficient in prosthetic repair.
Weaknesses: Struggles with small anxieties. Has a hard time asking for help unless it is a life or death situation, in some cases literally. A bit soft off of the battlefield. Despite good reflexes, has only average aim. Sometimes forgets to put on his welding goggles.

Arthur Kifer: A good marine. Friendly and very brave.
Johnny "Snowball" Redem: Smart, very knowledgeable in tactics, and a very brave leader. A bit loud, but, what can I say? He gets the job done, and he gets it done well.
Berry Baldman: Seems to know how to have a laugh. A bit loud, though.
Osbert Baker: Gave a monkey a gun. Not sure if he's entirely sane or not...
Maurene Howe: Seems to pop up every now and again. Polite, but a bit cold.
