Physical Appearance: Average height of about 5' 7", nearly underweight at 150 pounds, not much muscle other than on his arms and a lot of muscle on his legs. Zits appear across his forehead and his eyes look slightly modified, probably from laser surgery to correct his vision.

Preferred Weapon: Armat M-39 Submachinegun

Background Information:

Born in a small town in the United Americas state of Delaware, Adam was born into poverty. His parents had lived in a small "motor home" otherwise known as a mobile camper. His family was poor and couldn't afford much but to barely stay above water. His father was an alcoholic during these early years and he suffered from deformities upon initial birth, from his mother smoking cigarettes and him being born prematurely. Into his middle childhood, his grandmother died and in the inheritance they left, the family took the home on the property they lived on, and the father went to work once more as a mechanic for vehicles. His mother stayed home and played an 'at home' mother type of role, where he learned many home lessons. During this time, a family friend also scarred his mental state forever, during a molestation period of three months. He never told his parents or anyone of the event, and merely brushed it off. Years later, he made friends and started putting weight on, and became normal once more, with a lower middle class family. During his preteen years, however, he house was foreclosed on, and he was forced to live in the streets for weeks.

Eventually, his family moved from place to place, under government assistance all the way up until they found refuge in a family friend's yard, back at square one with a travel trailer. Eventually he found he was good with mechanical components, and started looking into jobs as an engineer. His father prohibited him from touching a wrench against vehicles, and threatened to break his hands. At age 13, he was arrested for terroristic threatening against a teacher that he called a friend, where he eventually took arbitration for it, and the record was mandatory expunged five years later, at age 18. This charge prevented him from gaining access to many government jobs, including the military. However, by the time he graduated high school, a recruiter was walking down the street, looking distraught with paperwork. Hastings was merely walking by and had just finished helping set up scaffolding and oiling some of the components that were being iffy. He bumped into the man and immediately swung around to help him pick up papers. The recruiter noticed his oily hands and his slightly muscular arms, and gave him a smile saying it was fine. After a brief conversation, the recruiter asked that one question. "You interested in a job, son?" Hastings, always living a poor lifestyle, immediately said yes, and he followed the recruiter to his office, where it only took fifteen minutes to fill out paperwork for him to join the United States Colonial Marine Corps, as a combat engineer.

Psychiatric Evaluation: Due to lack of social interaction in his young adolescent years as well as the molestation at an early age, his mentality was slightly tweaked in a negative fashion. He became more sensitive toward attacks on his sexuality, his childhood past, and his poor background. This lead to an increased temper, but an impeccable loyalty to those who show dominance to him, in both rank and masculinity. He has an above average intelligence standard but refuses to put it to the test most times, and prefers traditional, proven methods to get things done.

OOC Notes: I do apologize if any of this seems inappropriate, but I have been known to make characters with a dark origin, or at least an honest origin. I'll reveal a truth about myself, that is in regards to this dossier, but I'll only tell you if you privately message me, and then you can truly know where this story came from. If this is deemed too dark or too inappropriate, I will take it down and revise under administrative order. In any event, I do hope this sheds light and gives a proper dossier to one of my best characters.
