Personal History
Tabatha Ahuva Cody was born in Duke Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina to William Israel Cody and an unknown mother, along with her twin sister Lauyrn Adina Cody. Brit rechitzah was preformed roughly two months later by Rabbi Yisrael Connell Jephson. According to Tabatha, her relationship with her father was strained, William often disappearing for weeks only to come back without a word, often with a women in arm. Yisrael was her father figure for her most of her life, helping her keep out of trouble despite a short string of criminal sentences for petty crimes. Because of this is she is very religious and a happen of interjecting Hebrew and Yiddish into her sentences.

After graduating high school with a 3.0 GPA, she enlisted in the marine corp, supposedly out of a notion to prove she was something to her father. It didn't work, through her father did send (short and terse) letters in the mail. She was considered an unremarkable marine in almost all aspects but "A sometimes foolish sense of duty and bravery" according to Drill Instructor Maynard Santos. After completing basic training, Tabatha was assigned to the 1st Marine Regiment, taking part in operations against anti-United Americas insurgents. She continued to serve in the 1st Marines until 2186, when her entire platoon was killed after an IED blew their APC in half. Survivor guilt soon settled in as she was not in the APC due to overcrowding.

Remaining platoon mates alerted Warrant Officer Mason to suicidal behavior and she was swiftly given a psych eval and declared Section 8. Honorable discharge is recommended.

Bison Steve is a Colt Single Action Army Revolver that has been passed down through the Cody family for generations. Bison Steve was given to Tabatha by her father in 2178, before she joined the marines, perhaps as a misguided attempt to reconcile with her. It is named after Bison Steve, a American outlaw in the Wild West who after the civil war killed several Federal Marshall's, held up up to 12 trains and has at least one confirmed bank heist. He was supposedly killed by Jerred Aatami Cody, a federal marshall that is a confirmed ancestor of Tabatha.
