Childhood:
► Show Spoiler
When Alexander was born he was born into a relatively high class and wealthy home. He got excellent grades so well he skipped kindergarten and later skipped 8th grade. However when he was only 6, his parents died in a fire according to police, though the police ignored his testimony of his parents being murdered because he was just a child at the time, and russian police found "inconsistencies" within his testimony.
Teenage years:
► Show Spoiler
Alexander was fostered in a similarly rich home, though the parents did not show as much support as they should have, but they did support Volkov in his education. He got straight A's in school and did so well teachers put in recommendations and got scholarship opportunities to many major universities in the U.S where he attended at Harvard for 4 years, and getting his bachelors degree before stopping and joining the marines.
Adult and marine life:
► Show Spoiler
Volkov showed exemplary performance in combat situations and tactics, though he seemed to have his strength in tactics more than brute force and strength like the regular marine.
Almayer life 1 (for normal or SL marine):
► Show Spoiler
Volkov preferred to stay medic as a marine but fulfilled the duties of all squad positions with professional grade performance, though he hates it when he loses a patient, and he blames himself for it, like he's re-living the past.
Almayer life 2 (for command roles):
► Show Spoiler
Volkov quickly ascended the ranks and and somehow even beat the CO, and other bridge officers at chess and other tactical games like "call of war", a WW2 strategy game. He even beat them in Civ V, an oldie game that was very commonly played, he almost won every time, except for when he chose Russia.
Relations:
► Show Spoiler
John "Buckshot" Rhodes:
► Show Spoiler
Volkov thinks of buckshot as a person with a silent ambition, much like George Washington from early America he realized.
Respects Buckshot
Respects Buckshot
Vanechka "sleepy" Penkina:
► Show Spoiler
He was always fond of sleepy, not like the other marines, because they just worshiped her ASS. He thought she made a good tactician ... like himself ... and was not surprised when he saw her as CO.
Respects sleepy as more than just a "beautiful girl", as he knows many people who do that ... get nowhere in their lives.
Is somehow ... soothed by her voice ... not sensually ... but whenever he's angry, somehow, someway, when she talks ... he knows things are going to be alright.

William "Jester" Crimson:
► Show Spoiler
Though Volkov never ... approved of his attitude, or his nickname for that matter ... he always respected his ways, and his tactics, and even looked up to him as a role model for being the ultimate strategist, not JUST a tactician.
Frankie Day:
► Show Spoiler
Volkov was always fond of Frankie, regardless of his obvious lack of strategical skill. Sure he had tactical training, knew what to do in certain situations, but found that he didn't like to follow orders, or the STRATEGY, of the battle. He liked him because he thought small, though he knew the weakness of thinking small, he knew the importance of the small things, not just the big picture.
Adan "Digger" Howard:
► Show Spoiler
He never knew Adan that well, but he DID respect him, as he was a man to be talked about in the corps, he would like to know more about him if Volkov was ever honest about that. Or if he were EVER to be honest about it.
Reno "Weenie" Story:
► Show Spoiler
Though he respected him as much as possible, Volkov didn't like the way Weenie spoke, just ... something 'off' about his tone. He never knew why, but if he got past that, he knew that he was a little bit skittish, and a little bit cowardly. He didn't like that, but he DID respect his ability of BOTH strategy and tactics.
Cliff Campbell:
► Show Spoiler
Volkov always liked Cliff, though when he started fucking up real bad, he lost his respect for him, though he still likes him a little. Even if he fucked up real bad, just something about him that makes him wanna ... well ... like him.
Bill Carson:
► Show Spoiler
When brought up about Bill Carson, Volkov tried to change the subject, he never really liked to openly express his thoughts about him. But one day he got tired of people asking what he felt about Bill Carson, so he told them.
"But seriously what do you thi-"
Volkov interrupted
"ALRIGHT FINE, YOU WANNA KNOW WHAT I THINK ABOUT HIM?"
everyone was silent, taken aback from the sudden outburst
"I'LL FUCKIN' TELL YOU, HE IS PRACTICALLY DUNKIRK IN WORLD WAR 2, HE'S A FUCKIN' COWARD, HE MAKES NO FUCKING SENSE WITH MILITARY TACTICS OR STRATEGY, AND WHEN HE WAS IN TRAINING, HAD THE MINIMUM SCORE TO PASS, AND WORST OF ALL, HES A FUCKING CUNT WHO CARES ABOUT NOTHING LESS THAN HIS GOD-DAMN RESUME' AND A FUCKING PROMOTION, I WOULD RATHER HIM GET A PROMOTION TO GET OFF THIS DAMN SHIP, THAN HIM FUCKING GETTING A DEMOTION AND ME HAVE TO SERVE SIDE BY SIDE WITH HIM"
Everyone ... was DEAD silent, for at LEAST 10 minutes. Then he was called to the bridge, but Volkov didn't care, he had said what no-one else had the guts to say ... everything wrong with Carson.
"Volkov, I am CO Bill Carson, you know that I heard that ... correct?"
He dutifully, and respectfully replied
"Yes sir, I did know that, as a matter of fact I was expecting it"
Carson looked confused for a moment
"Sooo, you WANT to get into trouble?"
Volkov maintained his salute still
"No sir, I wanted to talk with you ... personally I think you have the potential to become great, but sir, may I have permission for free talk?"
Carson nodded slowly for the request
"Sir, I honestly think, along with other marines saying this as well, that you are a coward, we don't understand your tactics, OR strategies. I'm damn sure you don't want marines to die sir ... but we don't understand your tactics, reasonings, or goals behind what SEEMS to be ... well ... stupid objectives and orders sir"
Carson rubbed his chin
"Ok Volkov, you bring up some very good points, and I will explain to you why I do things the way I do, also, at ease, I want you to be comfortable and considerate when I say this"
Volkov eased and Carson continued.
"The reason why so many military commanders die, fail, get suddenly trumped, or in general, fail, at their duties, is because they are too predictable, I plan to be as unpredictable as possible, I notice you studying Sun Tzu's "The Art of War" a lot, are you not?"
Volkov slowly started to realize ... this was a tactic he was practically using himself, be apparently random, so your enemy can't guess what you are going to do next.
"Yes sir"
"Alright I am going to give you a quote from the book, this will apply immensely to me, and the ship as well"
Volkov waited as he turned to a MARKED page ... Volkov knew he had this conversation before with many marines ... perhaps that's why they liked him so much, because he explained it in this way ... he suddenly knew the quote he was going to use.
They both said at the SAME TIME.
"If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle"
They looked at each other, understanding.
"Also, as that movie "Pirates of the Caribbean", Jack Sparrow said this"
He continued
"An dis-honest man you can ALWAYS trust to be dis-honest, but it's the honest ones you want to look out for mate, because you don't know when they are going to do something incredibly ... stupid"
Volkov nodded in agreement
"You are dismissed Volkov"
"Thank you sir, and thank you for sharing your ... expertise with me"
Carson nodded, and Volkov walked back to the lower deck where he sat with his colleagues. They didn't say a word.
... He still hated Carson.

Incident #[RedACte-e-ee ERROR ERROR]:
► Show Spoiler
Volkov was on a routine operation on [REDACTED], when the CLF made a massive comeback by detonating a massive bomb. Volkov was in medical just outside the FOB of LZ2 when he said to his squad "Just trust me and turn out the lights on your suits, and cut the power."
The squad ... willing to do anything at this point, especially since it was FUBAR, turned out the lights.
Volkov then proceeded to get out his own purchased pair of NVG's, and a samurai sword dating all the way from the original samurai period on earth, handed down all the way to Volkov himself.
SL note: "Don't ... just ... don't talk about that day ok?"
"SL ... I need you to tell me what happened."
The SL spoke softly
"When the lights cut out ... I have never heard more screams of absolute pure terror, than that of when Volkov mutilated the bodies ... that's why we call him 'Blackout"
When Volkov was in the dark, the CLF were used to it ... but so was he.
The CLF didn't have night vision, as it was day-time, but in the massive, windowless building, it was pitch black.
Volkov assassinated and mutilated over 43 CLF soldiers.
Volkov then said ... don't turn on the lights, and let's get out of here.
The squad ... scared of what he had done ... turned on the lights.
The CO himself was looking through the camera at the time ... not a word was said as they exited the building.
Later that day, the USCM won, and Volkov was severely reprimanded, though he had broken no laws, nor violated any international treaty ... he was scolded.
//End of report//
CO private note:
There is no man with a greater passion of hatred for the UPP aboard this vessel than Volkov. Though I admire his tactic, I believe I may have just admitted a blood-lusted, and crazed, UPP abolitionist aboard my vessel with a passion to kill.

(What really happened when he was 6):
I awoke to the sound of glass breaking and head upstairs slowly from the basement.
I see my mother and father's silhouette's on the floor, and them ... screaming for mercy.
Then something nearly deafens him as 2 shots ring out and the criminal quickly exits the house, as soon as he sees the car drive off he rushes to his parents, and finds them on the floor, he checks for their pulse, he knew that much, but knew it was futile when he saw a dark, shiny matter coming out of holes from both of them.
He smelled gasoline, confused and shaken, and on the verge of crying his guts out, he knew that it wasn't good, and how fire will soon erupt.
He tried dragging his parents, but it was a fruitless attempt, he then smelled fire.
He dashed to the front door and out into the lawn and called 102, the Russian police line, they said help was on the way.
He turned back as an explosion knocked him off his feet, deafening him even more. He knew what had just happened.
He then curled up into his 6 year old ball, and began to cry until he fell asleep, even as the police rolled around the corner.
