Biography: Ben was raised on earth by his single mother after his father was killed in an accident on LV-447, during a prison riot.
She raised him onboard several transport vessles, until the age of 14 when she passed away from a brain tumor. He was sent into the Colonial Academy of Excellence. It was an orphanage for wayward children. At age 18 he enlisted with the Marines and washed out. Years later at age 25 he reenlisted and finally made it through basic training.
