TO: Weyland-Yutani Human Resources Department
Weyland-Yutani Headquarters
XXX XXX XXX, London
SUBJECT: Request for an internal promotion

Attached document: resume

Sunday, February 7th, 2186,

Dear Sir or Madam,

With this letter, I would like to express my interest in rising through Weyland-Yutani's ranks and step out as a valuable asset for you to use.

Loyal employee for fifteen years and counting, achieving with great success every task I was given regardless of the position I had the opportunity to work in, I wish to prove my loyalty to Weyland-Yutani by any means necessary. My certain seniority has given me much time to ponder whether I wanted a long-term commitment between myself and the Company to be, and I feel like now is the time for me to go the next step. It occured to me that working for Weyland-Yutani was the best thing that ever happened in my life and I will never give up on such a comfortable work environment.

I feel that my dedication to Weyland-Yutani's best interests, my adaptability and my love for administrative work could be of great use to you. A position that would require a man with my skill set to act within any boundaries that should be unclearly defined would be an exceptional opportunity for me to prove myself. I am sure Arcturia could use more employees to ensure Weyland-Yutani's monopoly on the planet, and I hereby declare myself as a volunteer to leave my home and go there to do what is necessary and ensure that your best interests are being looked after. Familiar with space-travel and cryosleep, I had the opportunity to visit various stations, be it leisure or refueling facilities, for business-related affairs. That is why the travel that would accompany such a promotion/transfer won't be a problem.

Despite my specific desire to be transferred to that given location, I assure you that any position will do. Willing to prove myself, I think the Company knows better, and will react accordingly to my demands by giving me the chance that is deemed fitting to my actual position, my loyalty and seniority. Rest assured that my dedication will never begin to falter and that, as a desperate man could write, "anything will do!" Despite using these words, I am full of hope and confident in your capacity to view me as an asset to use in any position assigned by your department. Finally, let me add once more that I enjoy working for Weyland-Yutani.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
Manley BUTTERFORD

Pretty neat dossier, can't say I've seen you around though, it's probably just a timezone thing.

I haven't played a lot in the last weeks because of holidays and overall illness, and my timezone is GMT+1. Can't say I'm famous or anything tho, so that's not really surprising!

This is a pretty sick dossier, can't wait to see you when I'm playing. A lot more unique than just the physical and biography stuff.

"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee."
