William is someone you could describe as way too self-aware. Whether it is due to his old age or the his long-time duty in the USCM is unclear, but he's a firm believer of Murphy's law, what can go wrong, will go wrong.
This belief reflects in his personaliy and commanding type, as he prefers superior firepower. You will rather see him wasting bullets, artillery shells, rockets and supplies than see him wasting manpower unless absolutely necessary. Bullets are cheaper than lives.
History:
William Frost was born into a fairly wealthy bilingual household in Oakmont, Pennsylvania on the 3rd of August, 2123. His father, Andrew Frost was ethnically german while his mother, Cynthia Frost was ethnically english.
His upbringing was fairly average for such a household, he grew up speaking both english and german, going to the Oakmont Elementary School with average performance. He was soon signed up to the Boy Scouts after entry into the 6th grade at the Overlook Middle School. His extracurricular activity have been noted to be deserving of recognition as he was getting more active in the Boy Scouts of America, earning himself a bunch of badges and merits. Upon enrolling into the Unionsville High School in Kennett's Square his performance began to improve. In his sophomore year he was then awarded the Eagle Scout and subsequently offered a $50,000 NESA STEM scholarship for his college life.
Upon receiving the High School Diploma with a GPA of 6.1 he has been accepted in the Merchant Marines Academy in King's Point, N.Y. and studied for a Bachelors in Aerospace Engineering with a prospect of joining the USCMC.
With the age of 23 he was qualified for maintenance and engineering duties alongside leadership duties and was assigned to the USS Sulaco as as Bridge Officer with the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade. The USS Sulaco was stationed in the United Americas sphere of influence sectors, such as Alpha Centauri, Sirius and Epsilon Eridani. He was part of a bunch of missions as overwatch, which included terrorist attacks, severe technical issues or a straight-out hostile takeovers that left most colonies in complete ruins. Sometimes used as a front-line Officer to lead one or more squads through the battlefield with mostly good success. Throughout one and a half year of duty he was promoted to a full Lieutenant. The amount of deployments during missions increased. The times after his promotion were uneventful with a few missions and patrols scattered around that timeframe. Nothing overly noteworthy ocurred untill a mission designated "Operation Stronghold".
(log-file being retrieved) "Operation Stronghold" was part of the larger Tientsin (aka 8 Eta Boötis A III) campaign, which saw the rise of the UPP and CLF. Brave acts during field operations has made Frost earn a promotion to Lieutenant Commander of the USS Sulaco. A few months after the campaign, William Frost was transferred into the reserves with the age of 39 as Lieutenant Commander and moved back to Oakmont.
He was soon after called back to active duty at the age of 48 with the christing of the USS Almayer and its subsequent deployment to the Tachyon Rift Sector.
Basic appearance:
William Frost is a sharp looking man in his early 60s standing at around 1,8 metres, his posture is straighter from what you would expect from an old man.
His facial hair is almost frost white and is well kept in a goatee and a mulder with a receding hairline. His blue eyes are usually never fully open, as if in a constant state of boredom.
The wrinkles on his face can be seen lightly, but it seems like some make-up has been put over to hide them in an attempt to make himself look good.
