Case Report – Mr. Liam West of WY – Alright. Up front, we’re looking at the parents: Petra and Miles. Petra Meer is a former, heavily decorated, USCM officer who last held the rank Commander before she eventually retired to Rylek, a colony out in the fringes of USCM territory with Miles Meer, former enlisted marine specialist. They only had the one kid, who’s been no doubt spoon fed the praises of Sol since birth.
However, it is very possible Meer’s grown up in hostile territory. It’s well known who Petra is within the colony—and her father’s no doubt got a reputation as well. In Rylek, the CLF has been sighted on several occasions. Commander Meer has had death threats sent to her in the mail as well from more extremist groups, but no actions have been taken thus far. Despite the CLF’s presence, the colony’s large enough, stable, and fortified by our own forces to keep any uprisers in check for the time being. Seems like WY has interests in Rylek that are way over our heads.
There’s no evidence that the family, especially the girl, being in any contact with the UPP – other than previous combat experiences on Petra’s part. They have not yet been sighted in the Mizar system. Rival corperations are also nowhere near Rylek due to WY’s previously stated interests, and our own intervention with keeping their crap square. Needless to say, overall threat level is LOW.
