At first glance, they exhibit signs commonly associated with learning disorders and mental deficiencies. Social developmental issues and intensive physical scarring (left-eye, right-vertex, right-femur) points towards (untreated) mental trauma as a result of physical abuse, domestic.

NOTES
Intelligence from REDACTED (See: Investigatory File #C771) coupled with regular interviews under the guise of psychological reports confirms father's position as an informant for the Union of Progressive Peoples. Although not of immediate usefulness, they still retain minimal contact with their legal mother. May prove as a useful form of blackmail in the inevitable future as relations escalate. Continue low-priority communication monitoring. Information withheld from USCM enlisted database.

Below are a list of translated descriptions on associates from personal journal entries presented during an interview. Additional logs yet to be translated.
Howard, Adan:
Zvezda moya—my star. I joyfully recall our beginning, meeting amidst a flurry of snow during the earliest posting I undertook. He stood by me, to listen to the words that my unversed lips spoke; it was not easy, to communicate to him in his native tongue. Within my own country, I was often told that my voice was alike my mother's, after all. Though he likes to act gruff, flaunting the bravado so common of these Americans, I know him to be a troubled man. For him, my heart is full of fear and pity, how long can he hope to hide his sorrows under the guise of humour?
Mei, Elena:
I like to believe it is common practice among the medical personnel of the USS Almayer to be wary of my supernatural ability to become injured. My mother always said I was a clumsy child, a habit I have been unable to lose throughout my adult life. Though she is kind, she is a serious individual who engrosses herself in her work; I do not envy those stupid enough to stand between her and her patients. Still, she has treated my wounds so many times that I fear she is more familiar with my innards than my outards!
