BIOGRAPHY
Born in the town Of Volgograd, young Grigori (age 3) and his family were moved into UPP controlled space as part of Russia and the UPP's joint colonization effort. He was taught to hunt wild animals found on the planet by his father, Josef, who had served in the Russian Spetznaz for 36 years. As an only child on a wild planet, Grigori spent much time alone in nature, learning to track and survive. Once he was around 6, he would assist his family with farming, construction, or general heavy lifting, as he was (and is) very large and strong. Often he would get into scrapes with other kids who would attempt to bully others, gaining a reputation as a guardian for others. Over the course of his education, Grigori was exposed to UPP propaganda that was integrated into the existing education system. In his studies, Grigori showed aptitude for reasoning and soared in athletics. Notable sports that he had taken place in included Boxing, ending with a record of 12 KOs, 34 Wins, and 1 Loss due to a technicality. Incidentally, he ended up being asked to quit after he had hospitalized 5 people. Medical records show injuries included broken ribs, noses, one concussion, and a total of 7 lost teeth. In terms of his academic aptitude, Grigori seemed to do average across the board, but seemed to excel in math.
Once he was out of high school, Grigori enlisted into the UPP military at the age of 16, upon request from his father. They took Grigori and placed him into a special training program, noting the potential he had displayed in Boxing and the preliminary physical. He was worked 15 hours a day doing drills, most of which weapon related, as he seemed to push through PT with ease. As part of the special program, the UPP injected a drug into him which slowed his natural aging process considerably. He was finally assigned as a Machinegunner, since he had little difficulty hauling around the heavy weapon and its ammo. Over the course of his career, he has been deployed in 5 campaigns, the last being the recent conflict with the USCM. What records we have have from this time are sparse, due to our continued hostilities with the UPP, however we have found that he had 71 confirmed kills, and received the Iron Sickle Award for holding off an enemy platoon for 2 hours while his injured comrades evacuated. Additionally, he provided a report that during his second campaign, some of his battalion managed to organize a fight between Grigori and a captured bear, wherein he killed the bear with knife after it had clawed out one of his eyes. His last campaign was cut short when he was captured by the USCM on April 17, 2183 after he surrendered himself in exchange for his team to be let return back alive. We have since conscripted him into our forces as a smartgunner due to his past experience. Even though he does not agree with many of our policies, he has shown on numerous occasions loyalty to his fellow squadmates. This should be used to keep him from causing issues or attempting to defect in future circumstances.
