► Show Spoiler
Mya was born on Earth in the Dominican Republic and saw an average life as a normal citizen. Her father was an active military police officer in the Policía Nacional Dominicana or Dominican Republic National Police. Mya was greatly influenced by her father, who she takes after personality wise, taking on his profane and otherwise colorful language as well as his sometimes hostile nature. Mya went to college for engineering in the United States like her mother, with a particular interest in ship engines and general maintenance work on numerous types of machinery such as SMES, APCs, computers and hatches to standard upkeep such as floor repairs and faulty wires. She is also well versed in construction repairs and Powerloader operation. Among her peers in college, Mya wasn't very well liked regardless of her ability to learn quickly, being one of the least popular people to interact with among the students, due to her sometimes toxic and even outright confrontational behavior.
Upon graduating, Mya did not go directly for a job in engineering. Instead, she went and sought her father's help to enlist in the Dominican Republic's military police, captivated by her father's gripping stories of crime in the Dominican Republic and fueled by the adrenaline of potential dangers in a line of work that was full of risks. It went without saying, but Mya was looking for a drastic change of scenery from her miserable social life in college and having learned nothing but engineering for several years while being ridiculed for being a "bitch"3.
It wasn't until some time later when police work in the Dominican Republic had toughened her up and steeled her that she'd apply for a military police position in the USCM, seeing it as the next big step in her military police career. After a few years serving as a police officer on the NMV Sulaco, Mya turned her taser and flash over and took a break from busting crime and tasing innocent people4 to settle down quietly5 as a maintenance technician on the U.S.S Almayer to put the engineering skills that'd been collecting dust back into action.
Mya learned E.V.A, atmospherics and the use and handling of an orbital cannon during her time in the USCM, among other skills.

Relationships
► Show Spoiler
Relationships will be separated into three different timelines. This is done to take into account the time that has passed between each iteration of ships the CM server has gone through. 2015-2016 are N.M.V Sulaco years, 2016-2017 for U.S.C.M Sulaco, 2017-present for U.S.C.M Almayer.
N.M.V Sulaco Years (2015 - 2016)
Alex Crossman & Joseph Skinner - "Fuckin' legends, mate. I ain't got much to say about Joseph Skinner or Crossman. I know they were both serving, same time as I was, but I never really spoke to them in person. I either witnessed what they did, or listened to them speak along with everyone else. I'd say they're both more than capable leaders, or at the very least solo badasses."
Dolthgar Pellecki Firefolk - "Before the thought of ever becoming interested in me entered my husband's mind, Dolth was already fuckin' hitting on me. Yeah, I remember. I was fucking guarding the logistics line in my red beret and there you fuckin' were. At one point I think we nearly fuckin' kissed because you're a crazy lad. I was behind the desks that separated logistics and the file of marines. Think you said something about sitting in my lap too, or me on yours. You know how long ago that was and I still remember the shit you said to me? I should've put you in the brig just to fuck with you, my man."
Isaac Miller - "How could I not talk about my husband? We married on the N.M.V Sulaco, back when that was still a thing that you could do. W-Y sponsored it and everything and fuck, I couldn't be happier. I don't know what drew Isaac to me, maybe it was because of nervous I was in the early years of my military career, or whatever else, but damn am I glad you walked into my life."
Mark Hanford - "He was like my big brother. If I wasn't hanging around with Isaac, then I was probably hanging out with Mark. We served as military police officers together. You know what really stood out to me about him? How he never fucking stopped fucking around with me, this little twat nearly flung me down disposals once when we were in medbay- or wait, maybe that was me that threw him down disposals. Oops. You don't still hold a grudge on me for that, right?"
Melissa Wright - "Another homegirl from the military police force, if I remember right. Like Tanya, this girl was also always on the plate, swinging home runs left and right. Both this girl and Tanya made me fucking look bad."
Osalaa Wooki- "We didn't talk a whole lot, but fuck man, the one time we did it was at logistics, while I was waiting in line to get my ID and shit all set by the logistics officers, who were slow as all fucking Hell. Wooki's a legend, too, just like fuckin' Skinner and Crossman.
Tanya Hernandez - "God damn, this fuckin' girl. Tanya is a part of the group that made up the military police force on the N.M.V Sulaco. This girl was always on her fucking A-game, but Hell, even the A+ students fuck around sometimes too. You can count on this homegirl to watch your back any fuckin' day of the week. I know I did."
Xurphorus Dergens - "I swear this guy and Isaac always fucking blew smoke up each other's asses. But whatever. We didn't talk much, it's through my husband that I even got to know about this dude and his exploits as both my husband and Xur fucked shit up together."
U.S.C.M Sulaco Years (2016 - 2017)
Adan 'Digger' Howard - "I remember this motherfucker. He was the liaison that was trying to fucking give me marriage counseling with a dude called Damien. The fucker wasn't even my husband, so you already got your shit fucked up Howard, God damn idiot. Besides that little fuckery, the man was alright. He didn't do me dirty at any point really. Made my shifts on the U.S.C.M Sulaco a lot more fucking bearable. Gotta' have that one nice dude to drown out the noise of the fuckers crying about losing power in their departments and shit, or crying about the core going critical.
Bigby 'Pyro' Farkas - "He was a pretty popular guy. I know he was a ginger and that he really, really fuckin' loved fire. Maybe that's why he was one of those fuckin' flamethrower troops. Damn, this man must've walked with the horrible fucking stench of burnt steak on him everywhere he went. I heard he was a good man, though. I filled every flamer's flame canisters so you know, I was probably the sugar mama for him like everyone else. I mean, when wasn't I? Fucker's better be grateful I even filled their shit with phoron and didn't just fill it with fuckin' air or some shit. Heh. I should've."
Isaac Miller - "You were there for me for so long, we never let each other go. You always protected me no matter what. You'd fucking go as far as to murder a hundred people to keep me safe. I wish I could tell you that I miss you."
Mark Hanford - "We stopped hanging out as much as we used to. You were the only one that I could sincerely call a big brother and actually fucking mean it. Yeah I talk a lot of shit often, but I can admit that you're a person that I miss in my life, too, along with my husband."
Tanya Hernandez - "Happy the military police girl stuck around to continue doing her job. I think she went from A+ to like fuckin' S+ or something cause' damn she was on point with just about everything. Even that one time where she arrested a Commander I framed- I mean uh, a Commander that shot me and got fucked for it. Yeah."
U.S.C.M Almayer Years (2017 - present)
Adan 'Digger' Howard - "Fuck you, Adan. Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you, you fucking damned bastard! I thought you were nice, but you fucking proved me wrong and I'm going to make you regret doing what you did to me. You better hope to God we don't end up on the same shift, because I'm going to be searching for your name on the manifest every single fucking time. We've got loose ends to tie."
Broden Ackers - "I'm pretty sure that Broden Acker's name is synonymous with getting your ass beat. Because all the ass kicking that Ackers does is all I ever hear about. Compared to guys like Crossman, Skinner and Xur, I think Broden Ackers is a rising legend. He's gonna' be up there with the great, greats. That's how fucking often I hear about this guy when you hear something nuts happened on the battlefield. The reason I consider him a rising legend's cause' I don't think we've ever fuckin' said a word to each other, yet I still fucking hear about him all the time from the engineering department, like he's some sort of fuckin' major football team everyone's cheering for. Shut the fuck up about Ackers!"
Dolthar Pellecki Firefolk - You know what list you're on now Dolthgar? You're on my fucking asshat list, that's the list you're on. You wanna' know why you're on my asshat list? Because I know you're the stupid fuck that stole my fucking medical supplies off of my belt that one time in briefing. I said you couldn't do it and not ten seconds later, I reach down into my belt and all my shits gone! Did you take my fucking panties with you too? Cunt. Keep your hands off of me next time or you'll catch this Dominican girl's hands, motherfucker."
Christine 'Rabies' Kennel - "Hey babe, you know I love it when you choke me in the maintenance tunnels right? Don't tell High Command I said that. I get enough shit already. I don't know what it is about blondes, man, they just rub me the right way. Really make me wanna' flex my muscles and just..."
Goldman - "This motherfucker. He fucking challenged me to play b-ball with him, I show up at the basketball court top deck and what does this fucker do? He fucking obliterates my ass, that's what. I don't know how the fuck he wrecked me at basketball, but damn does this Synth have some moves, man. For a second I thought he was programmed to whoop ass at basketball and that was his main programming or some shit, cause' fuck he kicked my ass. Bet you won't beat me at a fist fight though. See me in engineering, we're going to settle this shit and we'll see who really gets krumped, boy."
Jackson 'Stiggs' Hopper - "Homeboy, you still gotta' give me those kickboxing lessons. They give me a good excuse to beat someone's ass! Heh, but hey, you know I appreciate your company right? You're a pretty cool guy, kinda' remind me of what Mark Hanford was to me. Except I'd consider you the little brother."
Ryan Steelberg - "Motherfucking Steelberg. Stop ruining all of my fucking dates you stupid fucking dumb cunt. I'm going on my third date with a new guy, Thomas Echard and this twat decides to show up without an invitation and ruined my fucking date, dude. You know I was trying to get me some free dinner, right? But no, your ass had to come in and fuck shit up- listen to me you moron. You got all of the Command staff involved in one of the biggest incidents on my list of bullshit. You nearly got me fucking discharged from the USCM! God damn it..."
Tess Greed - "After my husband disappeared, I needed to find someone else. I'd waited long enough. Out of all the men on the ship to take an interest to, Greed was the first ever woman I actually fucking fell for head over heels. Thanks for making me realize I'm fucking gay. Hope you liked my love letter. I got bullied for it when people found out about it. It was like going through school all over again, getting constantly shit on."
Vanechka 'Sleepy' Penkina - "You see this hand? It's the OK hand sign. Now you see this other hand? My finger is going through the hole of the OK sign. Repeatedly. I kinda' got a thing for blonde women and by blonde women, I mean you. I'll take you home with me sometime baby, kay'? We can do some fun stuff together, how's that sound?"
