MARINE DOSSIER
Full name: DEGEI F. U. KHAN
Nickname(s): "Funkmaster," "THE Mongoloid," "That guy who ate the beer bottle,"
Age: 29 Sol Years
Birth date: December 25th
Gender: Male
Position: Knife Guy, Rifle Guy
Notable traits: An Eastern Asian man, Mongolian specifically. He stands at a daunting 7'2. Degei wears a dark blue leather eyepatch, a robotic prosthetic going up to his bicep on his right arm, and both robotic prosthetic legs, up to his thighs. Also has a liking to Ruskies and other Eastern-Bloc friends. (except the poles)
History: Born after his eldest brother, Genghis, he was bred and raised to carry out the task as Warmaster for Greater Mongolia. During the 3th Polish Reconquest of the Volga river, Degei was captured, taking with him 15 people in a blood fueled rage. With their Warmaster and main army gone, Greater Mongolia faced ultimate defeat, being forced to release the former land known as "Russia," "United Afghan-Turk-Khazakstan" and "India." With no Empire left, Degei set out to America, set on becoming a professional UFC fighter. Things didn't work out, he ended up pushing drugs in New Boston and locked up in a labor camp 7 months later. Recruiters came and went to the prison systems, always looking for recruits to bolster their ranks. Colonial Guard, Planetary Security, Station-Board Security, and eventually Expeditionary forces. The Colonial Marines arrived, and he hopped on the idea of that. Fighting ranges of International Marine Corps, he decided he'd admired their fearlessness and badassery. He joined up, got bailed out and got lucky with the 44th Division as an Armored Crewman. Boarding up on a ship known as the Halliandrix, Degei never looked back leaving Earth. To him, it was only a reminder of his failure.
Today was his day, the day of days. Invasion of JU-5376K, he loaded onto his brand new M22A3 Jackson, sat in the loader's chair and awaited the onslaught. Degei and his crew rolled out into the cities, crushing down buildings and carving a way for the Rifle Platoons until they encountered resistance. Well, resistance met them hard. The entire Division was almost entirely wiped out by Urban hit-and-run attacks. Degei's crew hardly made it back, this being the battle Degei lost most of his limbs in. Part of the Jackson was penetrated, and warped metal ripped his arm and leg off. Degei spent most of the trip back unconscious. His Company had retreated back to their insertion point. With hardly enough men to call it a division anymore, the group was disbanded and sent it's remaining troops to different Divisions. First day on the USS Kendrick, Degei got word his brother Genghis had joined up aswell, and sacrificed himself to bomb a terrorist frigate, while his team pulled back. His few belongings would be sent to him.
With his brother dead, Degei had nothing left, his days aboard the Kendrick hardly saw battle, save for Angola and a few revolts on Mars. He requested a change in ships and was shortly after assigned to the USS Sulaco, a smaller but highly regarded vessel, the same vessel his brother had served on a year before him.
